Good Times Only Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Florence

For it being a small local bar it is indeed an ok place to hang out. I think one's age will play a large part in their opinion. This is not a swanky bar with the most current music playing in constant rotation and so it isn't ment solely for the 20 somethings. Instead, it seems to bring in the same usual crowd of mixed ages that no doubt probably live nearby and can walk to this bar as to elude a dui. Inside the lighting is kept dim and because of it's tight space it seems to appear darker. There is a small dance floor provided and a single pool table cramped on the other side of the floor. Overall, the place seems to be kept clean enough to provide peace of mind if one chooses to order something to eat and their bathrooms have been remodeled to add another level of cleanliness. The highlights are the drink specials of which is favorably priced and they do provide a decent menu of classic "go to" bar food. O, by the way I had nearly forgot to mention the karaoke... yes, this place does offer karaoke for those who want to show off their singing talents. For what this place is it does do it's job. A local bar fitting enough for the locals....

I'm surprised at the other ratings for this place. It's clearly a dive. Tables are mostly high tops and packed way too tight. The chairs have vinyl that's fraying on the edges so you don't want to wear shorts and scratch up the backs of your legs getting up and down! There is a counter with about 8 stools. Food is terrible except for the French fries. ONE pool table. It takes quarters and is a dollars per game. They have a small corner for the band to play on weekends but no dance floor! Lol! Maybe move a few tables out. There's an outdoor patio with tables. Plenty of gambling machines and a jukebox. Bathroom is small. This could be a better place if they moved out some tables, added more low tops,re-covered the chairs,stopped microwaving food to death and...
