I would not even gone it one star if I could. Went there with wife and 10 year old granddaughter. The place looked dirty. The menu was a single sheet of extremely wrinkled, extremely dirty (dried old food stains on the menue). Asked for kids menu and got a single sheet of paper that appears copy machine ran out of toner and was unreadable. Waiter said just got new copies and acknowledged they were bad. Free chips and salsa was horrible. Chips tasted old and was rubbery salsa was like jalapeno and tomatoe paste. Could not eat chips. Only one waiter for entire place. Over and over, he kept saying they were "short staffed". Ordered food. I ordered chicken sandwich. When received, the bun was so hard I could not eat it. Told waiter. He said it was because they were "short staffed" and had "inexperienced kids" cooking the food. Took my sandwich back and only changed the bun. The second bun was not any better. I went to bathroom to find it was filthy and out of TP. I could go on and on, but I believe I painted an accurate picture of my horrible experience. I am a local and have lived here since 2007. I admit I rarely eat here as I have never had a good experience yet. This day I decided to give them another try. Big mistake. Oh, one more point. I mentioned going to the bathroom. As I exited the bathroom, the waiter stopped me as I was headed back to my table and had me follow him to his kiosk station and gave me my check, again complaining about being short staffed. I paid the check and quickly and discussedly left. I live here and was so embarrassed about the restaurant that I am ashamed to know this place is here. I know the history of it, I sympathize with tragiities that has devistated the family and my heartfelt sorry goes out to them. But I cannot support it anymore. Hey, clean up your place. Fresh paint goes along way. Get an eye appealing menu. I was grossed out by the one we were given. Also I heard other people complaining as well. Sorry folks, I want to support our local businesses but you need to get some pride. Bad, very bad. Also I really don't understand the good reviews listed. And the prices were too high, for the type and quality of the food. They charged prices for a much nicer style restaurant. Taco salad for my wife, chicken sandwich for me and kids chicken strips and 2 soda's (I had water) and my bill was a little over $40.00. when I saw a hamburger was almost $12.00, I wanted to leave. My wife said let's stay, we are already here. Again, another big mistake. Dirty, filthy, short staffed, poor food quality. Do not at all recommend this...

Update Dec 12 2023. Still top-notch. My wife had the beef taquitos and I had the steak fajitas. Out of this world and so authentic. Outstanding service. Pics attached.
UPDATE APRIL 2023. Took visiting family to lunch. As always, outstanding service. Great prices. Great food. I had the lunch combo #1 cheese enchilada with a soft shell beef taco. My wife had a half dozen mini Chimis with beef. Our son had the stuffed Chili Relleno. Our granddaughter had a chicken quesadilla.
UPDATE DEC 22 2022. Back for lunch. 1:30 P.M. and this place is hoping. Immediate seating. Our choice to sit indoors or on the rear patio. Quick, friendly service. Our server didn't write down our order - he memorized it. Cool. My wife had the half-dozen beef Mini Chimis and I had beef enchiladas with a side of beans and rice. The Mini Chimis are a great value but the half dozen small portion is still too much to eat at one sitting so half came home with us. Another great experience at good prices.
What a find. My wife and I have been visiting/shopping in tiny, quaint Florence since we bought our winter home 20 miles away 6 years ago. We have found our go-to Mexican food restaurant but this trip we met a friend who lives in Florence who suggested LB Cantina. Oh my. We arrived at 11:30 before things got busy. Unfortunately, we chatted way too long before ordering and by the time we did order, the place had filled up, so it took a while for our orders to be prepared. But that's the best part - your food is prepared plate-by-plate. No mass production going on here, save for maybe items like rice and beans. The wait was perfectly acceptable - I mean, we were in vintage Florence - and the food was UNPARALLELED! I had Combination #1 - a cheese enchilada with a pulled beef soft taco on the side. You'll be asked if you want your taco shell hard, soft or fried. The beef was outstanding. What a bite. My main entree, the cheese enchilada was special. The bottom was crisped. The filling was very flavorful. My wife's chicken quesadilla was STUFFED with chunks of moist well-seasoned chicken. The pic attached shows that. Our server was simply outstanding. Friendly, fun to be around and very attentive. She kept us posted on the status of our order after we placed it. Came by to refill drinks regularly. The restaurant has TWO outside seating areas - courtyards (see my pics) - one area on the side and the other in the rear - both fenced. Quaint. If you're in...
Read moreBEST SERVICE IN ARIZONA!! Working in a traveling sales position, I find myself throughout the state. Visiting many restaurants of all types, LB has, by far, the best service in the state. I was in-between an appointment and had to be back by 4pm sharp. After a quick tour of the museum next door, we decided to stop in for lunch at around 3pm. They looked busy as they could be given the spacing of the tables (GREAT Covid precautions) so I was worried about time. I asked the hostess about the wait times as I was considering just making a quick stop at McDs. She had gone back to the kitchen for me to make sure she could commit to my timeline, and she was given a green light from the chef's. We took our seats and we were immediately greeted with a tray of chips and salsa and our drink order was taken. The hostess had come to make sure that we were getting quick service immediately after our drinks were ordered and when they arrived moments later, they were ready for our order. Our food came out very quickly after, and it was phenomenal!! I had a pair of tamales in sauce with rice, and my fiancee had ordered a burger. Both of our meals far exceeded expectations! By the time we were finishing eating, they had our check and boxes ready for us, and even got us large sodas to go for the road. 15/10 best service I have ever experienced! I WILL make an hour long trip back to Florence just to revisit and get to spend some time at LB!
Thank you for your greatness!!!...
