PSA: Warning: This star rating is incorrect, because it should be 0 (ZERO) stars. Rude. Dismissive. No care or concern whatsoever. Questionable ethics when dealing with people’s money. Sat in drive thru approx. 15 minutes for 2 medium blue raspberry frozen drinks (icees) and a large water, only to be told when we pulled up, by the cashier holding 2 empty icee cups with the lids on them, “the blue icee machine is defrosting.” Why could we have not been told this when we placed the order?? She offered a replacement, but we said no we just want a refund, because this was really the only reason we went out of our way to come here. My daughter suggested they let customers know that machine is down so they don’t have to waste time and money going through this. The cashier gave no response. She said she had to go get the manager for the refund. He came over seemingly agitated and did not speak the whole time, even when my daughter suggested to let other customers know when they try to order this item, there isn’t any. Just a suggestion. She even said, “you should probably…” We left, thinking it was over and thinking she was fully refunded for the total order. When I noticed she was only refunded for only one of the blue icees, we went inside at this point, asked for the person who had dealt with us so rudely and pointed out the error, The rudeness continued and he said, I’m not dealing with this, turned his back and walked away. I asked for the GM, talked to him, he at first try to say we only bought one, then my daughter showed him the original receipt showing she had purchased 2 and a large water. Then he said the purchase was still pending. She showed him where it had come off of her card. It was a total fiasco, but the money did finally show up back on her card after these labored efforts. A word of further warning, go right now and read at least the first 10 of this location’s reviews. These also reveal all of the things we have said and then some, by other customers. A spicy chicken meal with a coke & a large mocha frappe, 2 fish filet sandwiches with cheese only & a dr pepper Requested BBQ sauce for the nuggets & extra BBQ sauce for my fries which i paid for & ketchup for my husband's food. Verified the entire order on screen being correct. Received...No apple wedges, no BBQ sauce for the nuggets or my fries even after I paid for them & doubled checked with the drive thru employee as she was rolling the bag down to hand me, that the BBQ sauce was there in the bag which she lied to me,, received only a hamburger w/o cheese, fish had everything on it BUT cheese, sprites were nothing but carbonation & the frappe had no whipped cream or chocolate on it. Damn near $40 meal. Tried calling to file complaint but evidently nobody wants to answer the phone. 😡😡😡😡 Yesterday stopped to get husband lunch. Chicken 6 piece mcnuggets/BBQ sauce & large mocha frappe. Got mcnuggets with only 1 BBQ sauce & mocha frappe that had very little whipped cream which didn't even cover the top of the drink & no chocolate. Turned around & went in & complained to the mgr for both days pathetic orders. She said she'd mention it to the mgr on duty & gave me 1 more BBQ sauce & put a squirt of chocolate on top of the frappe. 😡😡😡😡 Today husband ordered a 4 piece chicken mcnugget happy meal with apple wedges & sprite & a 6 piece mcnugget meal with BBQ sauce, & a large mocha frappe. Received No apple wedges, & took pic of the frappe to post with this review but it don't give me the option to. Evidently McDonald's advertises food/drinks that look so delicious yet, serve pathetic portions. My drink was only 3/4 full. After the experience I encountered with two of the employees at the drive through at the Cloverdale McDonalds, one sadly being the Manager. What began a merely an incorrect order turned into the absolute worst display of any type of customer service. The manager was sarcastic, implied I was lying and refused to assist me in correcting the abundantly simple correction in our order. She refused to give me the remainder of my paid order. She instructed the young boy at the window to shut the window on me while I asked for the drink we had ordered. My bag was tossed at me and the manager was the worst excuse for a supervisor of anything. She made rude comments as well as walked away instructing ONCE AGAIN to shut the window as I merely requested the sauce to go with nuggets we ordered. Throughout this unfortunate experience not one person in my party ever raised thier voice, used sarcasm or acted at all in a rude manner. The manager of this establishment is in no way equipped nor has the common sense know how to realize that it is the customer's that she there to serve. She should be setting the example to these kids. Instead she enabled this opportunity to treat customers in the worst disrespectful manner. Word of mouth is a powerful tool to encourage or discouraged further patrons . We will never visit this location again. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Stay clear!
