North Wood Social — Restaurant in Florence

July 18, 2025 It's been two years since I brought my dad for our lovely dinner, and I came back tonight to honor and remember him, as he passed to heaven this past April. Tonight I brought my daughter, and we remembered my dad as we shared a delicious burger, mushroom pierogies, and a strawberry kale salad. We also had berry cheesecake for dessert. My Dad would have loved it, and I felt him so close tonight. Thank you North Wood Social for giving me such a sweet memory two years ago and for treating us so well tonight.

June 24, 2023: Okay I'll get the missing star out of the way... My pork chop was a bit salty. But if that's the way you like it, you will love this place. And if that's not the way you like it, you will still love this place! Rob is the founder and proprietor of this place, and he was our server tonight. What a sweet guy and attentive server. We got the pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans, and both sides were perfecto, And we also got this burger special, which was delish. Lots of flavor, plus bacon. Went back for our 3rd time to North Wood Social. We both got the “perogies” again aka dumplings! I got the Potatoes and Cheese as well as the Kielbasa dumplings while my lovely other half got the special dumplings which at this times was Chicken and Dumplings perogies. We also started with the House Salad which was very fresh and tasted very good as well. They had our table I requested earlier in the week reserved for us which I greatly appreciate! This restaurant has quickly became “our” special place to go have dinner together! Forgot to mention we had a slice of cheesecake with caramel topping which was SO GOOD!!!! Only suggestion would be to add more sugar to the sweet tea as it tasted more like unsweetened tea and there were a couple of patrons at the bar that were pretty loud the whole time we were trying to enjoy a romantic dinner. Maybe next time the staff can ask them to quiet down or go outside?? 5 stars all the way around still!!!

We had a fabulous experience here. We stumbled on this gem, after asking locals for a great dinner hot spot. We frequent the Florence area dinner locations often, and we were looking for something new to try. This place came highly recommended by many of the locals and local bartenders. We arrived shortly after they opened, around 4pm. We were seated at a cozy high top table, just to the side of the bar. We were greeted almost immediately by our server, Mesa, who was on point from the time she arrived at our table. She recommended dinner options and did not disappoint. We enjoyed and shared a HUGE burger,and a side of stuffed dumplings. We couldn’t finish it all. We had more than enough to share and enjoyed every bit of it. The atmosphere here was warm and inviting, and as the evening went on the local crowd filled the place with energy. We thoroughly enjoyed our early evening here.
