I've been to this restaurant often through my life (mostly for the Asda mini tacos and wonderful chips and salsa), and it has never let me down. When I was younger and volunteered at the library, this was the perfect place to stop and eat, the supreme nachos always had crisp chips and gooey cheese with plentiful helpings of everything else. Now I often stop by with my mother whenever we need a quick and guaranteed delicious lunch, as I am doing as I write this. Jalisco's continues to have polite and peppy staff that are quick on the draw and even quicker with the cooking, even in these times of COVID-19. They continue to be a steadfast example in my life and in the lives of other Floresvillians. That, and despite my travels, I have not been able to find a better mini taco.

This is our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Floresville, although you could get an argument from others supporting Angelica's, Matas and Los Lagunas. Jalisco's is downtown on Court House Square, just across the street from Floresville's peanut statue. A large selection of dishes ranging from crunchy tacos to more traditional tacos including carne guisada, lingua and tripas. Meals start at $5.99 (enchiladas queso) and top out at about $10.99, with most under 9. Nothing fancy, just large portions of comfort food. Fresh tortillas, corn or flour, hot and soft. A favorite for families and working folk.

Arrived at 1:30 for a late lunch. The pics of the food looked awesome so I was drawn in. Seated quickly and drink and entree order taken quickly. Ordered the shrimp and fajitas plate. Locals continued to come in and be seated. So should be a good lunch. My fajita and shrimp plate was very good. The meat was cut thin which I like and was tasty and tender. The shrimp was spicy and very good as well. The waitress was not very friendly or personable. I did enjoy my meal and would visit again.

I was visiting Floresville for a dinner meeting, and stumbled upon this place. I was definitely happy we decided to eat here. The food is very authentic to Jalisco style. The chips and salsa were great! Salsa was plenty spicy, and the chips were thick and seemed to be house made. Our meals were generous portions, more than we could finish, and were served with two additional salsas that were both fantastic! You can't beat these prices. I had enchiladas with rice and beans and my date had three crispy beef tacos with the same sides and a drink, and our total bill was $10! The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and decor were nothing to write home about, but who cares! I would definitely...

Best breakfast tacos with best prices in town. The staff has worked on thier friendliness problem. This has always been my favorite place in town. But I had quit coming here for a very long time because the staff were rude to me and I got sick the last 2 times I had gone. That was over a year ago. I've been back a few times over the last 2 weeks and the food was perfect, still great prices, and the lady who checked me out was very nice to me. So if they keep up the good work, I will continue to be a loyal customer. If they start being rude again, literally for no reason whatsoever, my family will never give them...
