I have celiac disease and absolutely cannot eat gluten. Most restaurants will respond quite well to any requests for changes to the order. At 2 minute, I ordered a Reuben without the bread and explained why. Simple put together the sandwich without the bread. What I got was 4 thin pieces of pink lunchmeat, greasy and hard around the edges with a scant tablespoon of sauerkraut and a handful of fries. The meal came with a drink, which was not with the meal. When I asked the waitress for it, she seemed put out that I asked. I had ordered a cup of coffee before. She seemed to think that was enough. On the other hand, my mom and sister, who can eat gluten, ordered the cheeseburger meal. They were served cheerfully and their food arrived promptly and with the drink, that came with it. It seems I was an afterthought and having special dietary needs was more of an irritation than a customer to be treated politely. I don't know if my drink was charged for seperately. My mom was treating us to lunch. Also, one time, I ordered coconut cream pie and you could tell if was from the grocery store frozen food section. My mom has seen the owner buying meat in a local grocery store. Fortunately, the store does have good meat.
I will never eat at 2 minute again!
Their attitude toward customers with special dietary needs is awful! The food is terrible. My 4 year grandson can prepare food better than this! I will suggest no one to eat there!
The snowbirds seem to love it. I can't believe, I got such a crappy meal in such a popular place.
I did give the decor a good rating Because I grew up watching John Wayne movies and I love the Duke. He wouldn't tolerate such...
Read moreSo, tonight we wanted to eat out and contribute to small business. We ordered out here, the 2 Minutes Restaurant. I have to say the staff seemed very friendly and courteous but the food...hmmmm...no, didn't take pictures but U should of. We ordered 4 meals to go plus a kid's meal. One was a ham steak, which pan fried but from prepackaged meat. The mashed potatoes were chunky with canned corn. Other three dishes were garlic pork chops with baked potato, which the potato looked totally unappealing. It was dark, zero seasoning and look like it was should zero attention except rolled up into aluminum foil. The pork chop was fatty and again, canned corn. Frozen chicken tenders with french fries and you guessed it, canned corn...lastly was the fried catfish, was really looking forward to this...the catfish was frozen, not fresh because the breading did not hold. We live in Florida near fresh water and the ocean. People are struggling to sell their meat, fish and vegetables. Come on...The tartar sauce tasted like the one from McDonald's, fries and again, canned corn...the best thing was the sweet tea, fresh brewed and just enough sugar. All 4 dishes lacked seasoning and it was bland...the kid's meal was unappealing a grilled cheese. I could have made a better one at one. The bread was white and cheese looked terrible. It didnt ooze...Their menu in google is not up to date, says all dinners come with a drink and dessert. Not true, just a drink. They say they can't update it, i don't know about that. Friendly service but not going back. Not for me or my family...Sorry. Again, until next time, enjoy...
Read moreFirst, my mom and I walked in and no one said hello or even acknowledged we were there. Then the table we were suppose to be seated at, some random guy sat down and that was it so we had to wait to get another table. Then when we finally sat down and the waitress (Genie) was wiping the table off my mom said thank you and got no reply. My mom then said thank you a couple more times with no reply. We sat down and ordered out drinks after a little bit and when she came back with them she said, "Here" And threw the straws down. My mom still said thank you with yet another, no reply. When we finally got our food however it was delicious. I had the Wild West and it was perfect. Compliments to the chefs. During the meal our waitress asked if we were doing okay, which made it a little better. Then when we were finished eating a nice young lady named Kay I think was very nice and my mom thanked her to which she replied, "You're welcome". Finally someone who acknowledged they were thanked. Then when we went up to pay Sue was very nice and asked how everything was. I'm giving 3 stars because the food and most employees were great. However I won't give anymore because the waitress we were handed was not in the business to be nice. And honestly Zephyrhills being so small, I've heard others complain about...
