Taco Amigo — Restaurant in Zephyrhills

I am sorry to say this is the second time I have been to your restaurant and been so unsatisfactory with the food. Every single time that young boy is on when me and my husband go which is a lot because your food is good. We get 3 of your 8 dollar special with 3 comes and 2 rice when you or your wife is there it’s fabulous when you are not the corn tortillas fall apart and have to be eaten with a fork and tonight the tacos were not even heated or cooked up the meat was bland and rice was halfway cooked. I think you can do better then this and again the phone only rang busy . Why is this. You have such great qualities and fabulous food that now I feel as though I should take my business elsewhere like down the road. Also I was not given a receipt and I used my debit card so I should have had to sighn when I said something the young man walked away again very disappointed and disrespected. Sad to think you will loose great customers who come every week and spend 27 to 31 bucks to only not once not twice but 4 times be unsatisfactory I wouldn’t eat the rice we threw it away I had to use a fork to eat my tacos what do you plan on doing about this sir or when are the days you and your wife are there so when I come I know I am getting quality food and service because your son has none my name is Amanda please get back to me and let me know what you plan on doing about this thank you he told me when I called I was there 3 hours ago my receipt clearly says 4:55 and I called at 5:45 after we heated everything so that my family can eat he was rude I will not come back I did not want a refund I wanted a experience that...

This restaurant stop used to be my all time favorite place to go to in Zephyrhills. I’ve always ordered a jumbo slice quesadilla that comes with a drink . Today I found out that a drink is no longer included in the meal after going there several times a week for the last 8 months. The drink is still “included” on their online menu, however. I also found out that you will only get one free sauce with each meal when it used to be unlimited side sauces. The employee ( owner’s son) was extremely entitled and rude. He told me that for three sauces, I would have to pay three additional dollars. He also told me that drinks were no longer included in the jumbo quesadilla “meal” they just changed it. The food was very cold, I literally had to come home and put it in the microwave for a minute . This restaurant went from being A place that I recommended to everyone and took all my friends and family to, to a place that I will never return to again. This was the absolute worst quality that I have received from this restaurant. The restaurant was dirty, messy, and absolutely filthy. I would honestly recommend going to Taco Bell instead of here. The quality has degraded drastically and the customer Service is terrible and at this point absolutely nonexistent . It is obvious that the owners do not value their constant and loyal customers. Amazing authentic food served with a smile. I was visiting my parents who live nearby and this popped up on Google maps so I decided to give it a shot. I liked it so much I took my wife back the very next day for more. The building was clean and well cared for on the outside. What you can see of the inside also appears clean and organized. The menu is not huge and overwhelming but still has a great selection. The homemade sauces available are fantastic so make sure to give them a try too. The man behind the counter, I'm assuming the owner remembered me from the day before was very friendly and helpful. Seating is all outside but under a patio overhang for shade. You are next to a slow speed, somewhat busy road but it's at an intersection with a light so traffic is stopped often. The only problem I can see with this being the dad of a 2 and 4 yo is kids being kids and running around maybe a little too close. If that's the case, get it to go since that is an option. We actually got our meal to go the second day. I had the Torta (chicken) the first visit and Tacos (chicken and pork) the second. Both were excellent but I definitely preferred the pork. Give it a try I don't think you'll be disappointed. The food is authentic, prices are fair, people are friendly and the facility is clean. What more could...
