Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Florida

We ordered pizza and salad. The restaurant was freezing so the pizza got cold immediately. I told the woman who was waiting on us that it was really freezing. She said she was the manager and started telling us a very long story how there was no air conditioning in the summer yet the restaurant stays cool. OK folks we all live in South Florida and know that’s just not possible. She then said that the there was no heat in the restaurant and admitted that it was freezing but that thethermostat was currently reading 90 degrees. I told her if your thermostat is reading 90 then your thermostat is broken, lol, because it’s freezing here and there’s no way it could read 90 with this cold temperature. Then she told us she didn’t know where the thermostat was. This was a little crazy quite frankly. How could the thermostat be reading 90 if you don’t know where it is?? It was really a crazy conversation. Remember the Seinfeld bizarro world?? We were just looking at each other thinking . . . what is she saying? She admitted that the restaurant had no heat and admitted that it was freezing and that there’s no heat and that that’s why the pizza gets cold so fast. She also said but that doesn’t make for a good pizza experience because you want to have hot coal fired pizza, But you can’t have that experience because there was no heat. It was 68 agrees out and it felt colder in the restaurant. She did not make any adjustment on the bill or any offer anything even though she pretty much admitted that we had cold pizza. I definitely would not go back to that location although I do like Anthony’s cold fire pizza. Oops! I meant coal Fired pizza. It must’ve been a Freudian slip that I said...

Our whole experience was so extrodinary! Great food. I wish I could give them a sixth star.

We are so very fortunate to be celebrating my grandmother's 89th birthday this week. Celebrating in person is not a luxury we will be taking for granted anytime soon. Anthony's helped us turn a little pizza party into a feast and a real celebration!

Emily and Pedro made the whole ordering process simple. They helped me order more effectively for my party and I started out very happy.

When we picked up our food the two gentlemen (I wish I could mention them by name, but neither of their names was on the receipt) were so quick and efficient. We were in, paid, and out before I knew what had happened. Wonderful!! It might sound simple/silly but the plastic garbage bag they added to the order for us (way above and beyond) really helped the party run smoothly.

Four generations sat together and feasted on great food! I can not tell you what an achievement that really is. There was something for everyone. Also, what made it so amazing is how it was put together in a way that made the whole experience seamless!!
