Update 2/2024: Ok, the first experience could have been a pleasant anomaly but we had a craving for pizza last night so we ordered from Blaze a 2nd time. The experience was just as wonderful as the first time. We did a large, custom pizza w/ up to 7 toppings and the pizza was delicious. This time I decided to try the drive up instead of going in and even more impressed. I had ordered the pizza earlier in the afternoon for a 5:45 pickup. I pulled up to the drive through at 5:45 and the pizza was ready and still hot. Blaze @ 54 and Sunlake Blvd is AWESOME! Our first time trying the Blaze location that recently opened near us. We will definitely be going back!! Ordered online for takeout and ordering was fast and easy. The order confirmation said that when I arrived, to skip the line and go to the pick-up station. When I walked in, I had a pretty good idea where to go but stopped to ask one of the servers. She was so nice and pointed it out but asked for the name on the order and went and checked on the order status for me. Great customer service!! I walked in about 2 minutes before my pickup time and walked out with a nice hot pizza 2-3 minutes after my pickup time. The pizza tasted great and the red sauce tasted very fresh. One other great thing is their order ahead actually works. Have had a couple of bad experiences with another major pizza chain with orders placed ahead of time being terribly late. Not at Blaze, I ordered the pizza around 4:00PM for a 5:45 pickup and it was coming out of the oven, right at 5:45. Well done Blaze,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy bad experience was with a short, skinny, long-haired young employee who had no customer service training. I left a cake on the table with a number on it for no more than 2 minutes while I went to the bathroom. When I back, she had already taken the cake and other people were sitting at my table. The table next to me told me the employee had taken the cake. When I asked her, she told me that she had already thrown it in the trash. I explained that it was an expensive cake that I made for my sister and she just said sorry but it seemed like she didn't care. When we were placing our order, I explained to another very nice young woman what happened to me. She asked the other one what happened. This very aggressive young woman asked what we wanted to do. buy or what; because it was my fault that I left the cake alone on the table. I know it was my fault but I couldn't take it to the bathroom. If she were an efficient employee in customer service, she would have shown empathy and humility instead of aggression. Also, she could save the cake just if someone asked for it. I won't go back to this place even though I love their pizza since they have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn my way back home, my 7 yo daughter asked me if we could eat from Blaze Pizza, sheās a big fan because we live 4 minutes away from this store. I tried using the mobile app but I was driving so couldnāt order that way. I entered to the restaurant at 10:02, it was still open and the front guy was taking the order from two other customers. I literally begged the guy to take my order, he simply said āI canātā without a solid reason. He said he was taking the order from the two ladies because they entered the restaurant before 10:00pm⦠then this guy (employee recognizable because he has a big mustache) was telling me to go to another store 15min away (I could tell heās not the owner but just a not pleased employee)⦠anyway I was trying to please my daughter, the store was literally open when I entered, the guys were still taking a previous order⦠why this kid with mustache couldnāt make an exception? He could have baked my two pizzas with the ones ordered by the two ladies. I donāt know, costumer service, restaurant reputation, common sense and camaraderie is not a nice/important thing anymore?⦠So...
