Ordered 3 adult habachi meals and 1 kids meal. Specified in order details no onions in any part of 2 of the adult meals and the kids meal. They all came with red AND white onions in the rice. When calling the store they told us we had to specifically ask for no onions (which we did) and then continued to say it was an extra charge for no onions (which was perfectly fine and what we ordered) and that “most” people who ask for no onions are still okay with the onions in their fried rice. Since they were somewhat minced onions they felt they could get away with leaving them in there. People have allergies, and our request was looked over and ignored. Also one adult meal was ordered with extra rice with chicken and shrimp, they gave extra rice but used that as an excuse to put almost half of the meat that regularly comes in the meal. Instead of giving the adult meal portions of chicken and shrimp and then adding extra rice to the meals. Also the noodles we ordered on the side were awful they had a bland tasting, sticky, almost thick gravy consistency sauce on them and tasted like it was regular spaghetti noodles from the store. We called the store politely to compensate this mess some how (new rice with no onions or a credit) and we were told there was NOTHING they could do. Terrible experience overall in every department food, quality, and customer service. Strongly do NOT...
Read moreSo we ordered here for the first time on Saturday. I spoke with Leo and 2 of our 5 family members gave it a go! The food was warm, yet considering the 3 others ordered Chinese in the same plaza and had full containers, well it wasn’t looking good. The gyoza (6 pieces $4.95) was nicely crisp and my daughter enjoyed her shumai shrimp (6 pcs $4.95). That being said, shumai were tiny for same amount and price. We also had chicken and shrimp hibachi. Cooked yet not mushy vegetables and nicely browned chicken. Shrimp seemed nice size yet my daughter had the fried rice, myself noodles. It was not pleasant seeing the others, including my husband had leftovers and yet we had eaten the hibachi, appetizers and TRIED the soup. It was clear soup and we were told not fishy. It is though in fairness not overwhelming. Well, we like to support local and my husband had decided he didn’t want to go out to a sit down the next day. Now we had 3 trying Osaka once more! I spoke with Andy, explained our experience and placed an order now including a poke bowl, and hibachi steak. Amazing difference! The food was HOT, the portions at least fit the containers and our bellies with some left! Because we know what it can be like, but had to find out the 2nd time around it gets 4 stars...
Read moreMy mom and I had the pleasure of coming to Osaka Express about a week ago. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. We started with the Krab Rangoon appetizer which was amazing! I had a customized poke bowl with big fresh chunks of tuna and salmon, so yummy and fresh! My mom is scared of anything "raw" so she went with the chicken and steak hibachi, and to be honest I had never seen her eat so much at a restaurant before! She's a very picky eater and I couldn't help but smile looking at her devour the food. That means she thought it was amazing! I got to try some of her food and now I cannot wait to go back and order some Hibachi myself!!! The portions were HUGE for both the Hibachi and Poke Bowls. I wish Xin, the owner, could open a location closer to me because I would go on a weekly basis! While I was there a lot of people came in asking for their same favorite dishes. It seems they have a large following of regulars. The fast food options in this country are extremely unhealthy, so a place like Osaka Express is definitely a blessing in this fast paced world. We all want food and want it NOW, and want it CHEAP... Osaka Express is fresh, fast, healthy and affordable... Try it out, you will not be...
