I just left this place not even 20 minutes ago. My husband love the goat soup. One thing I HATE is horrible customer service. I will never walk in a place of business with an attitude. So, I walked in 2 ladies where at the register. One was counting(coins) money. I said hello the tall younger one, I think she spoke, but the dark one that was counting money never looked up was real rude. You would have thought we had some type of altercation how rude she was. After the rudeness I ordered 2 bowls of the goat soup. I asked for a menu the younger one pointed up. What type of mess is this. When I saw they had Curry Chicken. I said can I order the Curry Chicken the dark one head down still counting coins said "there's no more curry" that pissed me off. The young lady went and got the order, leaving the rude one still counting coins. No eye contact, no nothing. I called my husband and said don't you ever send me here again. I don't eat goat soup. I felt as if she didn't want my service. She couldn't tear my spirit down because I came in with a good one. You Jamaican women are something else. And they need to clean up the place. I went to their reviews, and it speaks for itself. Don't worry, I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS SLUMP. JUST IN CASE YOU DON'T REMEMBER WHO I am. I was the bus driver with the bubbly spirit that you wanted to tear down. FIRST TIME HERE, AND MY LAST...
Read moreMe, my boyfriend, and my coworkers have all decided to stop going here for food. We are right around the corner from them. We would order our food an hour ahead of time to pick it up for lunch and it hasnt even been prepared yet exhausting entire lunch period waiting for our food for something we tried prevent. Once we ordered jerk chiken. And when they gave us our food they said it wasnt jerk cuz they ran out of sauce. But we specially wanted the jerk. The lady was rude to us...it was our problem and if we wanted jerk sauce so bad we could buy it our selves from the store. Rather than taking a bottle from their stock and just using that as a temporary replacement. No we had to buy it. Countless times we have ordered food and had mutiple people walk in after us and place their orders and recive there food before us..... Countless instances of awful awful service between me and my coworkers. We all just decided to take our business elsewhere since they would never do it right. I suggest you do the same. The food is delicous (super boney meat though) and we love it. But the great food dosent make up for huge lack in treating your customers right. Unfortunate...
Read moreThis is the only jamaican spot I will go to. I drive all the way from fort myers to get a plate. They never sized me like the spots in fort myers have. Real jamaican jerk ain’t flat out red with some weird sweet oily taste to it like the spots in the city tried to serve me, being that I was raised by jamaicans it’s insulting. This spot here is the only authentic spot i’ve came across, they serve me with a greeting everytime. For those who are saying the woman at the counter is rude I suggest coming in more often, those who know, KNOW lol the ruder they are at the desk at a jamaican joint you know the food gone hit everytime . However that’s never been my experience. I adore the older lady who takes and prepares orders, she always knows what I want and puts extra love into my plates. I’ll drive 35-40 minutes for a plate...
