We just moved to the area and wanted to try out this Chinese place. I really wanted to like it because I like supporting local business, but it fell short. Very short. The food was hot and ready at the time that they said it would be after I called the order in, which is a plus. However, the experience was downhill after that. The chicken in the general tso‘s chicken AND sesame chicken meals were extremely overcooked, and the meat was tough. The sauces and flavoring used for the chicken and even the fried rice didn’t taste like much of anything. There needed to be more spices it seems. It also comes with a spring roll instead of an egg roll, which did not have any flavor either. The egg drop soup tasted like it had been made the day before and I was afraid of it getting me sick so I only had one sip. My fiancé said the egg drop soup was decent but not great. Krab rangoons were all cream cheese and literally no crab. We spent $32 on two dinner combination meals and some Krab Rangoon’s and we regret it. Try...
Read moreInteresting Tiawanese take out. Most of the soups are light in color, It taste good, but not used to seeing this compared to typical Chinese style places. The Triple Crown vegetable dish is my wife's favorite. Nice light sauce with crisp vegetables. We tried the beef with broccoli which was much more broccoli than beef in a very salty dark sauce. It was good with the fried rice when in combo to tame the salty sauce. I was not a fan of the shrimp with garlic. We got it mild but the shrimp was tough and the flavor was off to me. I will say the spring rolls are excellent. Crispy, light and tasty. Overall it was not bad. It is different than standard Chinese which can be a good thing. Just go in knowing that, so you are not surprised by the presentation...
Read moreWorst Chinese restaurant I have ever gone to! I ordered the shrimp fried rice and lo mein noodles with shrimp and broccoli. Well after I called them they told me the broccoli didn’t come with the lo mein. OK fine no problem, so tell me why wasn’t there any shrimp with it. On top of her rudeness she swore to me that there was shrimp in it. I’m not going to waste my time and energy if there were shrimp in the dish. There was literally one shrimp in the entire container of the noodles. There was literally three shrimp in the dish of the shrimp fried rice. I promise no exaggeration! This restaurant was recommended to me and I decided to try it. Worst mistake...
