This was my 1st visit to sonic. An email with some special pricing brought me here to give it a try. The special pricing was only available if you preordered your food through the app
That is where the trouble started. The app was not working well, it actually stopped completely 2 or 3 times. It appeared to not have a connection to the Internet and I finally gave up on it
I jumped into the drive-through and ordered the same items I had intended to in the app. Unfortunately without the special pricing that the email had offeredThe total bill was almost 50% more than I expected
I'm guessing this is not an uncommon occurrence because when I brought it up to the young lady who asked for my credit card, without hitting hesitation they adjusted my bill to the sale prices. I thought this was very nice usually there is an argument about sale prices in using apps and things like that
The food I had was OK.. It was not exceptional it was not great, neither was it bad.
It was reasonably priced and probably a great place to take the kids after the little league game or something like that. After all they do serve tater tots
Besides sitting inside the restaurant or doing take out through the drive thru sonics still offers car hop service
While this will probably never be a place I go for for myself, absolutely I would pull in when I have a car full of kids that want to snack
This is an update for February of 2023. It appears that sonic has fixed all of the things that were problems from me on my 1st visit.
Today's visit was extremely positive one everything was right everything was quick everything was hot.
It is hard to ask much...
Read moreI was already disappointed when a Sonic popped up in my neighborhood, but over the years I have come to hate the place. I’ve had to just leave the line when there was one car ahead of me because I was on a 45 minute lunch break and wouldn’t be able to make it back in time waiting for whatever reason. That being the worst of countless times I think to myself let me stop for a quick bite to eat and waiting in line 30+ minutes. Still the convenient placement brings me back, I even downloaded the app to try a half priced Red Bull slush, which I’m sure corporate would love, except I never got the slush, apparently the whole surely underpaid teenage work staff had walked out, so I was told to just cancel the order, for my one slush after, since I had walked there because of the convenient placement I had sat outside for 20 minutes in the heat of Floridas summer, because the first time I walked up I was told it would be right out. Then tried to get my refund, and couldn’t even get that without waiting on hold for who knows how long. Deleted the app, that’s the last 3 dollars Sonic steals from me. Sorry everyone walked out, but seriously don’t hire an entire staff of adolescents, that’s on you, raise your wages and I’m sure someone would be willing to actually work for you and provide the service YOU decided to take on of feeding...

We ordered popcorn chicken, poppers, chili cheese tots, and a large butterfinger ice cream. We showed up about 8:30 maybe, it had just started raining. We waited out an entire drive thru line and more before our order came out, maybe 25 minutes. That's fine, we don't mind waiting. We haven't eaten at Sonic for awhile, even the dogs where excited (that's who the tots we're for). Either way, we got our food. The chicken was not even warm, but tasted good, the tots looked like cold poo was lightly spread across a few tots and a couple lines of cheese sauce. No sauce for the chicken, no sauce for the poppers. The poppers where at least warm/hottish. The $6 ice cream was the worst ice cream I've ever had anywhere anytime. It was like they just emptied the last of the container of butterfinger dust into a giant cup of ice cream. Not a single candy chunk, just a big giant cup of ice cream with small chocolate pieces and a hint of butterfinger. The last time I ever...
