On 8/21/2016 at 6:44pm at the South Naples Restaurant Check #: 40027 The order was: 1 side of fries, 1 full order of Texas Cheese Fries-no jalapenos From Car side to Go We ordered and arrived early, so we parked directly in front of the carside to go doors, hoping for prompt service. We talked and watched as multiple servers walked by the door, a few glancing out. One gentleman was outside on his phone smoking a cigarette and when a 2nd employee came out to tell him it was his turn, he shrugged him off sending the other server back in. It was quite slow, so we waited. Getting lost in conversation, I finally glanced at the clock to see we had been sitting there for 30 minutes. Now I may be wrong, as well as the other chili's restaurants I have ordered from, but carside to go has always come out with our food etc. After this 30 mins with no one bothering to address us, another white car pulled up and began waiting. I walked inside to see if our order was ready. Not only was it ready, next to another order, but it had been sitting there for quite a bit of time-which I discovered after leaving and continuing our 2 more hour journey home. I asked the young girl who was standing at the podium on the phone, while two employees hung out at the bar in the room to my left, why no one thought to bring our food out when we are not only clearly visible, but ordered carside to go. Her response was a stuttering, "uh, um, I'm not sure." I paid for our meal and informed her that another car was waiting as well, she replied with "ok." Frustrated with the lack of care or concern for their few customers they managed to have, I left without speaking to a manger-we just wanted our fries and to get home to our families. Walking out, the woman next to us had her windows down and I informed her she would need to walk in tot get it. She informed me, she ordered carside to go because she just had surgery and getting up and down frequently would cause her issues. I put our food in the car and went inside to let them know. When I walked in, the girl Jamie, was not at the service counter anymore, but the customers order was sitting on the shelf where it had been when I walked in the first time. I waited while the same male employee hung at the bar and quietly observed, rolling his eyes at one point. After approx 3 mins she comes back to podium, clearly not excited to see my unhappy face again and I inform her that the white car that is visible from her spot is here for their food. Her response? (I am sure you will love it, because I was floored.) "I know, she called in her order." I let her know that, so did I and I had to carside to walk in without knowing and that the woman will not be able to walk in to get her food and that she will indeed have to go give her, her food and collect the payment due to what the woman had told me. As I get to my car Jamie was bringing out the food and the woman was thankful. Getting in the car now, we head back to the highway and began our still long trek back...all the cheese was long congealed and the fries were dry making them barely eatable...and yes, of course there was jalapenos mixed in with the scallions. I can not express my lack of satisfaction enough with this location. I love the Texas cheese fries and the location I go to locally is 5 stars in comparison to this location in Naples. I HIGHLY recommend not a single person go there until they get their staff well trained or replaced. This type of customer service is inexcusable and straight up lazy. Read moreSEE PICS FOR PROOF STAY AWAY STAY AWAY *I have Added an UPDATE PLEASE READ ALL TO UNDERSTAND After arriving at 703 pm we waited by the front door to be seated after 10 min no one ever came to sit us, we went to the bar to seat our self, After 15 min of watching others get drinks and food we asked a women if we could get drinks, after we asked another 10 min passed, finally got drinks, had to ask for everything, after 40 mins of ordering we asked when our food was coming, Our server came back and said soon, and here is a FREE chip and salsa, Then Came our appetizer which was the TEXAS fries, someone from kitchen dropped them off keep in mind we had NO FORKS or PLATES, they sat on table for 15 min we asked for a manger after a wait a women came to our table ASHLEY was her name. she brought the plates and forks, but 15 min sitting on table the food was COLD, she took them and said a fresh order would be out fast, We ate our main course. still no appetizer, Ashley correct the bill by giving a discount. Now almost 1 hour and 30 min we asked for the manger again, she didnt show, we asked 3 other people for the manger. Then our server came back and said your fries are almost out, 1 hour 45 min later the server said I dont know whats going on. I told her I wanted the orginal recite and the Manger name because i would be calling home office. about 5 min later ASHLEY returned to our table and said we refunded all your money back, and had a plastic bag to go which had our texas fries and a our cheese cake. I could smell a burnt smell when i got home i quickly noticed where it was coming from, The fries was NASTY looking and smell very bad, SEE PIC. I called again and spoke with ASHLEY and told her, she said she looked my fries before boxing them, How sad the manger didnt notice the burnt smell, or the missing hot peppers, or the cheese? Serious . now look at the hamburger notice the RED meat and burnt on top. what does that say about the cooking HIGH HEAT and rushing?? I will return tomorrow to show the General Manger DANNY what is being servered here. I will also contact the home office and forward these pics to them, IF YOU WANT Chilis go to NORTH Naples much better there. I speak for my self I will NEVER return to this resturant again
UPDATED* The next day I wanted to show the General Manger the Texas Fries that Manger ASHLEY approved. In shocked The General Manger ( DANNY) was suprised to see them. we talked about the service and how we was made to fell. I explained to Danny that I would never come back. Manger manger offer you a free meal or something. BUT Danny went above and beyond that. He gave us a reason to come back, Danny made us fell welcome he DID NOT rush when talking to us, in fact we sat down for over and hour and talked He does care and he wants the best. I will eat there again ONLY because Danny made us feel welcome. He said next time I come in after our meal ask for him and give him a full detail report on how his store did. He said he wants to sit down at the table to talk again. My next step was to call home office. But after talking with Danny I choice not to. I will give them a second chance. Read moreWe arrived to find the table was not even wiped down. There were food crumbs and sauce globs stuck to the table and the menus which the waitress didn't even offer to clean. Then my friend had her ID revoked because the waitress and her manager were completely ignorant to the different legal IDs of the US. My friend had a legal non-resident Mexican ID and it was revoked because 'obviously' it was fake. We should have left at that point but considering we were as hungry as we were we stayed. We were there about 2 hours waiting for the food and about one of those hours was spent waiting for the waitress to finally decide to take our order. She would come to the table asking if we were ready and walk away before we even had a chance to answer because somebody else's table was far more important. The waitress not only obviously was rude but was a complete airhead when it came to waitressing, she never looked us in the eye and we don't even know her name. She brought out the food which was obviously a microwaved meal. My friends half rack of ribs we're obviously boiled and then covered in sauce rather than barbecued which is what the menu States, and my food seemed to be missing half the meal. The waitress looked at me and apologized because they had run out of broccoli and asked if I wanted to be brought something else. Of course I said yes, but this is an instance when you leave the person's food in the kitchen heating, you don't bring it out and then offer a replacement for the thing that's missing. So of course now I eat my entire meal and have to wait another 10 minutes before I get the macaroni and cheese which I ordered. Now the mac and cheese arrives and it is mac and cheese made with the cheese you find at gas stations for your nachos. Seriously, this is your homestyle mac and cheese? Needless to say we ate what we could, and asked for the bill. When we received the bill it says we're being charged for the entertainment at the table, which is not stated anywhere that we will be charged for that. The machine itself has a card slot in case we want to pay for games but it has a section of free games. That is false advertisement in and of itself. So in short the food and service is terrible, they are extremely racist, and they falsely charge you for things you didn't even know you would be charged for. It's like a racket restaurant.
