China Wok — Restaurant in Florida

I rated this takeout Chinese restaurant a 3 star because the food is average. Everything was was made correctly but the large Subgum Fried rice did not have much ingredients other than rice. Subgum or house fried rice is supposed to have a little bit of everything in it including shrimp, beef, green onion, pork and more. There just wasnt enough to my liking. I also order Mongolian beef which comes with white rice. It was average with too much oil. The beef was not as tender as I am a customer but it was good not great. This is a chain restaurant and in my experience China Wok is usually the same no matter where the store is located. Been a loyal customer since LONG before the pandemic, Left a review here two years ago to support them, but have to update it now. "Best Chinese takeout in marion county!" The food is still a similar quality, but since the new girl took over, the service is terrible. She pretends she can't understand you if she doesnt want to fufill a request. She also overcharges for extras. Asked for extra sweet and sour sauce before I paid, stared at me like she didn't understand, and completely ignored the request. Went out to my car, followed my gut and checked the bag and had to go back inside for it, she still charged me $1 for the extra cup of sauce after that entire fiasco. Great prices, good amount of food. I’ve been going around ocala since moving from NY trying to find the best chinese spot that matched the yumminess of the one i used to live around the corner from. This one was good. Maybe i should have tried something im used to for a better comparison but I tried their chicken in garlic sauce combo. It came with pork fried rice AND an egg roll for only 8.50! Awesoome. The only thing i can say about it, is the rice seemed a little over while the veggies in it seemed under done.
