!!TERRIBLE SERVICE EXPERIENCE!! 02/16/2025 Our party ordered burgers, tenders, a large fry, and a large onion ring to share. We took bites of two onion rings and they didn’t even have onion, it was all batter. I took the container back to the counter and waited until there were no customers. I quietly and politely asked the young lady at the register for a refund after explaining the situation. She was very nice and waited to get her manager’s attention to ask for assistance for the refund. The manager, whose name I was told was Erica, came over and when I started telling her the issue, beginning with “I ordered a large onion ring”, she interrupted me and said “that’s what those are.” I told her I understood that, and continued with the problem. She immediately and aggressively started ripping apart all of the onion rings. She started with the thickest one telling me the rest were fine, and after she started ripping apart the very thin ones, she grabbed the container and literally THREW it into the trashcan. (I hope someone reads this and reviews the cameras from appx 6:35-6:45pm ish) She then stated “I’m only refunding you for one.” I told her that was fine, that I only ordered one order. She responded loudly with “No, I’m only refunding you for one, the rest were fine.” I was confused as to what she meant by “one” but didn’t say anything. She instructed the young lady at the register to give me $3 and change. I told her I couldn’t accept a random $3 refund for food that was not $3. She insisted the rest were fine, and I reminded her that she ripped them all in half and threw them away. She then became more rude believe it or not, and tossed a ten dollar bill at me yelling “There you go! Have a nice night! Don’t ever come back!” with the snarkiest of voices and grin. I remained respectful and calm the entire time and told her I would be writing a review and calling corporate to report the incident. We left without eating the rest of our food there. No surprise to learn that the same woman was extremely rude to a gentleman who had a problem with his order just mere minutes before my experience. I wish I would have read the reviews before stopping for a quick meal on a long drive. This location will continue getting poor reviews with people like “Erica” in charge. Read moreCulver's, Punta Gorda was a big disappointment, with my wife we had been ordering the cranberry, bacon Bleu salad in other locations. Yesterday afternoon we ordered the same, since my wife is very allergic to onion, I told the lady not to supply a dressing for her ,since all dressings in Culver's have onion, including ketchup. The two salads were brought to the table, immediately my wife was removing old spoiled cucumber slices and spoiled lettuce , we tried to cut the bacon slices with plastic forks, impossible, the slices were hard eventually old, impossible to cut, the worse came when trying the chicken pieces, they were chewy and tasteless, like biting on a piece of plastic, most probably old, frozen and not cooked right. I took the plate to the front counter, to show what they served to us. When they told me that they will take no action and this is it, I got really upset bringing my wife's plate to the counter, asking for the manager to check what was served, the manager refused to talk to us or give her name, from the kitchen a young man showed up with cell phone on his hand saying, now you and your wife leave or I call the cops, I will tell the cops you are trespassing!! Read moreI have been to Culver's many times and this by far was the worst experience I've ever had, I got the sourdough melt and made it a double. When I got the food delivered to my table I noticed that they didn't put my extra piece of meat on and I went to the front to alert them of this and I told them that when they remake my sandwich I would like the meat not to have any seasoning on it because it was over seasoned. The lady at the counter informed me that they would not be remaking it and that they would just give me another piece of meat so they took another piece of meat and they put it in a basket with a piece of cheese on it, the cheese obviously wasn't melted on the meat and I couldn't believe that they were expecting me just to add this extra piece of meat to my sandwich which is crazy because the sandwich had been cut in half but with this new piece of meat I had a solid piece of meat on top of a cut piece of meat and cut bread so it was half solid sandwich and half falling apart and it was still obviously over seasoned meat on both pieces. This is the worst food I've ever had from Culver's and the worst customer service I've ever experienced with them, honestly I do not think I will be ever returning to this location.
