Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Florida

My husband and i stopped for a quick bite of lunch. Outside on the sidewalk an elderly gentleman sat in his wheelchair. We went in an ordered our food. Our food was brought to us very quickly by a courteous employee. As we sat enjoying our food it started to rain outside. The ederly gentleman was trying to get in . An employee went over and held yhe door for him to enter. As he passed by us we noticed he had all of his wordly possessions with him. An employee who was on break sitting near us seen the gentleman was going to the restroom. He got up and went and held the restroom door open. After a few minutes the gentleman came out and rolled to the counter. He told the employees he only had 3 dollars and wanted something to drink. They asked him what he would like , filled the cup and said no charge for the drink sir. I was touched by the kindness these different employees displayed. After the gentleman got his drink he went to settle at a table. I went over and asked him if he would like a chicken sandwichj or hamburger. He looked at me and said i would just like some fries. I went to the counter to place the fry order and Dustin an employee had witnessed our conversation. He told me when i went to pay we will take care of this. They proceeded to make the gentleman a full meal and took and served him. I was so touched by this act of kindness and grace by these young employees. Dustin then came to my table and told me Dairy Queen likes to pay it forward. I have so much respect for this company now. I just wanted to share that with everything going on in our world , Dairy Queen still holds values and empathy for the less fortunate. I am now forever a Dairy Queen customer. I've been going to DQ for well over 30 years and when I go I order the same food for lunch everytime. 1 double cheeseburger and that's all. If you know anything about DQ, we all know the double comes with cheese, pickle, mustard, and ketchup. It's been that way my entire life. I ordered one last week in Port Richey and had no problems. Today the girl taking orders decided to be ignorant. This was around 1pm April 5th 2024. I said I would like a double cheeseburger and that's all. She said what would you like on it? I said what? She said ALL of are burgers are doubles. Do you want spicy, add bacon, blah blah blah. I was trying to speak and she just kept naming every burger on the menu, so I lost my cool and told her stop talking because she was being very rude, like I was and idiot. Then she told me to have good day and that they would not be serving me.I didn't ask for spicy or a deluxe. A double cheeseburger comes with cheese, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Learn how to do your job. I will never go back to this store. I will drive the extra miles to a different DQ from now on. UPDATE!! Gave them another try..... Man I wish I hadn't. To begin, I should mention that I never review restaurants and have made an exception this time because of how bad the experience was today. This is the second time I've eaten at this location and both experiences were noteworthy in the mediocre meals that I received. There were a number of problems on the occasion that my family and I stopped here for a quick dinner on the way home. First, it took nearly ten minutes for the cashier to take my order. Not as a result of some language barrier or other communication issue, just because she seemed totally inexperienced with how the process worked. This would have been fine, had the food that I received been correct. One of the meals received had the wrong toppings on it's burger and the other was charged extra for cheese that came on a so called "cheeseburger". Next, we received multiple orders of cold, soggy fries. Finally, all of our ice creams were melted when we received them. The cherry on top was that my girlfriend was unhappy after the meal.
