I (JH) woke up wanting donuts so I sent the text to JD and off we went to Divine. I grabbed some of our usual favorites in the Vanilla Churro, Chocolate Holland, and Maple but also tried some of their cereal donuts, specifically the Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Crunch Berries. I also grabbed a coffee. I’ve had Divine’s coffee before and vowed to never do it again. But now that we’re reviewing places, I thought it was only fair to give it another shot. As usual, the donuts taste great. The Vanilla Churro is my particular favorite. The simplicity of it being essentially just a cake donut with cinnamon sugar and caramel yet somehow it’s perfect every time makes my insides smile. The cereal donuts were all very good. Basically, if you like the cereal, you’ll like the donuts. I’ll be getting those again, for sure. The rest of the donuts were great, as is the norm at Divine, with the one exception being the Chocolate Holland. It’s not that it isn’t good, it’s that it was undercooked. This has been an issue with the Chocolate Holland a number of times that I’ve gotten it at Divine and it’s quite disappointing. We’ve brought it to their attention in the past and I know that the nature of this particular donut makes cooking it fully a little trickier due to the fact that there isn’t a hole in the middle like most donuts. But at the same time, that’s what people pay the experts for. Back to the coffee. I love coffee and was disappointed when I’ve had Divine’s in the past. Today it was better. I did add creamer and sugar to it and I would say that it’s ā€œfineā€. Not bad, not great….but definitely drinkable. But I’m not going there for coffee. I’m going for the delicious donuts that have great flavors and are usually fried to a perfect slight crust on the outside and fluffy on the inside texture. They may have a couple missteps along the way, but that shouldn’t stop you from going. I can’t wait until the new Cape Coral location opens on Del Prado! I (JD) had just finished eating a blueberry cake donut (my favorite) from Divine that my wife brought home from work the night before when I got the text from JH. Naturally, being the lover of food that I am, I said yes. Since I already had a donut, I stuck with a chocolate iced chocolate cake donut (second favorite), a classic sour cream donut, and a cronut hole. A cronut is essentially a croissant turned into a donut, deep fried, and coated in sugar. And yes, it is as amazing and delicious as it sounds. The other two donuts were fantastic as well. I know, I have simple tastes when it comes to donuts. But Divine Donuts does simple really well. Their donuts are never dry, they’re full of flavor, and they taste great. If you’re in the Fort Myers area, stop by and grab yourself one or twelve. You will not be disappointed.

I have been here before and one of the toppings on a donut I picked today seemed very hard the apple fritter seemed overcooked …it made me sad. Normally it’s fresh and scrumptious in the middle and little crunchy bits on the outside. The maple top donut..the donut part was nice and fresh tasting but the maple topping wasn’t nearly as good as last time and it was very hard. Service was great and friendly. Just today I was looking so forward to the same flavor and texture as last time. The donuts are normally very tasty and well decorated …nice selections. It was just the two items I was so looking forward to today weren’t up to par. And they have been normally great. I’ve ordered several times for a nice treat being a nurse. Very worth the trip for me. Just today was a treat for me and missed the mark. But again they are normally wonderful.

Delicious donuts. Check out the photos. Adorable seasonal decorated donuts. Coffee, expresso, cake donuts, old fashioned donuts, raised donuts, yeast donuts. YUM. They also have breakfast sandwiches. Conveniently located, plenty of parking. In same mall as Harbor Freight, Walmart neighborhood store, Suncoast bank, Shoe Boat, Dollar Store, etc. Happy birthday Divine Donuts. It was their first year anniversary 11/22/19. They had a fun giveaway for their birthday, giving away free donuts. Really fun donut store! Best wishes for many more anniversaries! Check out the Thanksgiving decorated donuts, sooo cute.

So, I am someone that has Never done a review on something- be it food/restaurant, stylists, doctors offices, etc... even though I probably Should have for some, whether positive or negative. But this place, wow, I absolutely Had to! I have never in my life, tasted a donut That good before! I got half a dozen and when I got to my car, I took a bite of the maple log with bacon on it. I turned my car back off and hobbled back in there, just to say Wow! (And I do mean hobbled bc I have the handicap parking pass for a reason!) Yet I still went all the way back in bc I was that blown away by how incredibly good it was! And each one I've had since then, just as amazing!! And to top of my whole first-time experience there, was the pure kindness, (and patience, bc I'm known to be quite indecisive- and then you put all those amazing donut flavors and varieties in front of me šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ«£šŸ˜¬šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø lol) of the wonderful lady that helped me. She genuinely seemed to care about the things I was telling her! Plus, she gave me her takes on the flavors and which was her favorites, and I'm so glad I went with some of her recommendations! So, to say that I was pleased, would be the understatement of the year...bc (if) you could ask ANYONE I've talked to since then, bc I have literally told every single one about it, lol, they would for sure say that I was beyond impressed!! I do not live close to it At All, buuut, a couple of my Dr's and my "specialty pharmacy" is over there, so I will absolutely drive just a little further to get there when I'm in the area! And I'll definitely be telling my pharmacy, Dr's and NP's about them so they can try it as well! Lol. I really just wish that I would've taken a picture of them before I had any!... next time though, lol. So, it's prolly a Good thing that I don't live too close bc I'm not sure I could restrain myself from going there more...I would probably double my weight from them alone! šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜¬šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‚ So, thank you SO Much for such Amazing treats and kind employees! I'll definitely see y'all in a couple weeks for my next Dr's appointment!! Lol. (At Least I have something positive to look forward to going to my appt now, instead of the usual "ugh 😫") Definitely an A+ rating...

Every year on December 15th my family has donuts. My dad passed away on this day 10 years ago and we celebrate his Heaveniversary and his life by having donuts. It's become our thing. Last year we went to Divine Donuts and decided to go there again this year. I love supporting local businesses and am disappointed in today's experience. I ordered two donuts, a coconut and a long john, as did my mom. The long john had maybe a tablespoon of filling in it the coconut and glazed donuts were a little dry. They did not taste fresh, more like day old donuts. The coffee area is self-serve and you have to get the cream out of the refrigerator beneath, which is totally fine. But when I opened the door, there is mildew/mold on the door and the seal. The coffee area did not seem clean with coffee grounds and drips. The bathroom was not clean either. It was clear by the appearance of the coffee area they are not wiping down common areas...no hand sanitizer...and I did not see any employees cleaning the coffee area. Coffee was hot, but ran out after only one cup. No one was really checking it or cleaning. I had to tell them they were out. Which if you are a coffee and donut shop you might want to be a bit more focused on it.

Very disappointed to leave a poor review as I don't normally do that but donuts weren't great, service wasn't great, cleanliness wasn't great. Wasn't worth the calories and certainly not worthy of a Heaveniversary celebration in honor of my dad. I wish we would've gone to Dunkin's or to Publix and brought donuts home. I didn't even finish my donuts. They weren't worth the calories I have to work off for it. Divine Donuts was not...
