Living Vine Organic Cafe — Restaurant in Fort Myers

Food had absolutely no flavor. No seasonings at all, not even salt and pepper. Tastes like it came directly out of the bag or can. It was a bit busy but food took 30 minutes before one plate came out and another 10 for drinks to come out. I took one bite and couldn’t eat it. I boxed it up so I can try to make it taste okay at home. Employees were very sweet though and boxed up our plate and drinks for us.

EDIT: My one other food review OVER A YEAR ago was at Subway, and I left it because they had good service and made the trip enjoyable.I cook nearly every single meal at home as I am vegetarian and have been for 7 years and typically ONLY eat at restaurants like yours. I’ve also worked in food service since I was 15 and am an experienced barista as well. I even complimented your service and you made assumptions about who I am based on a review that I left because I came to your shop excited and left upset and hungry. I understand a time wait when it is busy, I know how that goes, but again the food did not come out up to par with that long of a wait. It was bland. Perfect for gluten free vegans and NOT ❤️ Found this amazing cafe due to lunch with friend who has very restricted diet. The options online looked good but we had no idea how good it is!! Great food, big selection of sandwiches, bowls, and wraps all available gluten free and vegan. We had daily special: turkey wrap with micro greens, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, pickled onions, and a delicious basil mayo, a raspberry muffin (vegan and gluten free), and as great as that was, the iced latte with agave and coconut milk was pure decadence - even have real coffee ice cubes!! Ample gluten free vegan bakery case that tastes so good you'd never know, and huge hot and cold beverage selections puts this at the top of my meet up/catch up go to now! Hi there! I wanted to talk about my experience in today because I honestly was a bit dissatisfied. I went in today and the environment was great, however I asked the man at the register if I could add chicken to my salad (specifically the black bean avocado and quinoa salad) and he said sure. I also asked him before I ordered it if it was a good serving size because I was willing to pay extra for it. He reassured me that it was and I ordered it. When I recieved my salad it was as pictured. I guess I was just a little underwhelmed by the volume of chicken put on it. I had payed extra and was expecting what I payed for, considering quality of ingredients and food at this establishment is very high. I also ordered a latte with lavender and honey that was delicious.
