Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

Got New York crust meazza. Placed the order at 10:43pm, left with pizza at 11:20, took that long because they initially made a wrong pizza. When I got home...what i got was a thin crust, dripping in grease that soaked through the cardboard box, hardly any meat but loaded with cheese! I took one bite, got absolutely disgusted with that "crap on a shingle" I've just tasted, drove back to Domino's ,got there at 11:50pm, gave the "pizza" back and asked for my money. The guy, I didn't get his name, actually wanted to do right by me, he wanted to refund me, but the woman, Ashley, the one who also made my pizza, dug her heels in, and absolutely refused! Started saying how they can't/don't give money back, she could remake the pizza (hard pass from me) , or I needed to call the boss!! Absolutely unacceptable! But the guy actually stood up for me, he literally said "oh, just give her her money back!", and while Ashley was having a fit, he gave me cash back which caused Ashley to flip and start yelling at him, how she did not appreciate him doing that! Unbelievable! It started to kick off between them, I took my money, drove to 5 Star Pizza, where I actually usually go, this trip to Domino's was one off and NEVER AGAIN!! The pizza was gut-churning; Ashley, should not make food for anyone or be allowed to speak to customers! If you make horrible food, you need to own up to it and take responsibility, and if the customer brings it back to you because it's THAT bad, then there's no way in hell they are gonna eat something you make, so return the money and just apologize! Btw, I got the 16", the same size that I get at 5 Star, but Domino's pizza was smaller and...

The online ordering bit of the website tends to make frequent errors related to coupons; on our very first order last year, it spontaneously removed the coupon and we ended up getting half of our order (had neither time nor cash on hand to get everything we'd initially ordered).

Yes, I have the confirmation mail and screenshots of the order and confirmation email once it was placed. (I'm paranoid about technological/automated processes since...lots of businesses are still in beta-testing, apparently.)

The online ordering thing also apparently changed the order from a two-litre of Coke to a 20oz once I pushed Place Order. (Yep, screenshots, too.) I didn't even realise this until I finished writing a rather lengthy feedback thing just now and got to check my mail.

Another mistake in tonight's order (though it ended up not getting placed) was that I'd entered a particular sandwich with normal sauce, but it went to "no sauce" in the cart. It also went from "normal sauce" to heavy sauce in a pasta dish I ordered. (Though not in the second order of the same dish.)

The most harmful error was when I ordered a pasta dish with NO mushrooms a few months ago, and we got EXTRA mushrooms. (To which my friend is highly allergic.)

So it would appear that the errors aren't human, but technological.

Recommendation: If you have a hankering for something from this place, call your order in until the website crimps...

I called from my home to do a pickup order. Upon picking the phone up the employee asked me to hold. After almost a half hour on hold, I decided to stay on the line and drive to location while I was on hold. I arrived to the location to see several workers obviously bored and playing on their cell phone while eating pizza ( while I was on hold still ).

I drove up to pick up window and the worker asked how he could help me. I then asked why I was still on hold, and if he planned on ever taking my order. He looked puzzled, checked the phone and realizes I was on hold. He simply said “ my bad.”

I then ordered from the window band was told I would have to wait. I tried explaining to employee that had I not been forgotten on phone by being placed on hold to never take order, then I wouldn’t have had to wait. All in all after waiting on hold and then waiting additional time at this location while preparing food turned into 1 hour and 8 minutes for a one item order. And to think that they were not busy at all on their cell phones and eating pizza .... this location needs...
