I'm aware that calling an order in is outdated. However the app doesn't allow for paying cash. I was put on hold for 6 minutes. I called back and asked not to be put on hold. But I was put in hold again for another 3 min. I went to the store and placed my order. After the order was in my hand I asked for the manager and told her I shouldn't have to wait almost 10 minutes to place an order. Manager didn't even allow me to complete my sentence. I was told not even kindly that it's company policy to not have people at the register wait. They had a customer with a very large order. Yet when I arrived at the store within 3 minutes of hanging up the phone(I was already in my car) the restaurant had one customer in the store. It was other wise empty. Therefore it took almost 10 min to place an order and 4 minutes to get said order out the door. Manager didn't even attempt an apology. Manager was bordering on rude with a grin on the face because manager was ready with an answer. Not to mention their were onions on a sandwich that was odered with no onions. The manager filled the order. Too bad I won't be back. Ill use my points at a different store then give up on Firehouse Subs. It's a shame 1 manager causes the lose of business like this. If I'd been treated nicely upon my complaint I could over look company policy for people who didn't even appear to be in the store. Sad because I used to...
Read moreMy husband & I were treated to lunch here by my Uncle the other day, and I thought it was pretty good. I ate a half of a club with came with ham, turkey, and bacon, your choice of several different cheeses, from which I picked provolone, as well your choice of the routine sandwich veggies and condiments, all served hot on your choice of white or wheat bread, of which I chose white. The half sandwich filled me up & it tasted great, to my surprise, because I normally don't like hot sandwiches. Overall, a great experience, with a very friendly & efficient staff of employees. However, my uncle got the meatball sub & we all 3 thought it was horrible. It wasn't your regular tasting meatball sub, as it had almost a plasticky taste to it. It was definitely seasoned with a completely unusual set of herbs & spices, that none of us cared for either taste, nor smell wise! The place was fairly busy for a Friday, early afternoon, but surprisingly, we walked right in & were placing our order within 3 min or less & eating within 10! Meal prices were decent as well. Overall, out of 5 stars, I only rated it a 3, because I felt like there should've been more variety in the options of sandwiches & bread they had, but maybe it's because I'm already used to Subway or due to the fact that I worked at a Blimpie's. Nice, clean...
Read moreUpdated 9/30/25. 2 great tasting sandwiches. I ordered both extra toasted and 90% was perfect, but, the end of each sub was burnt black! McKenzie made both sandwiches very well, otherwise. Used the 2 subs meal deal for $19.99 == great deal!
Updated 8/12/25. Great combo promotion. Great tasting sub, however you forgot my pickle again.
Update 7/21/25. Both subs were made perfect. Toasted perfect and tasted great! Thanks!
Update 2/5/25. My wife's sub was burnt. My sub was not toasted at all... barely warmed. Her turkey bacon sub was missing the bacon! Neither sub had the extra pickle that we both ordered. Ironic that the bag containing our subs had a sticker stating that the order was double checked for accuracy and quality... one burnt sub, two missing pickles and one missing bacon.
Update 12/27/24. Manager Josylin phoned me and we discussed the subs.. It was that they care and want to get it right, which is why I'll keep going back. So kudos to this business... updated to overall 5 🌟 because the show great customer service.
Food was good, however, both my and my wife's subs were not made correctly again. Her's was to be extra toasted... but did not seem toasted at all. Mine didn't have correct "fixings".
