Okay let's set a couple things straight before I leave a review. I have looked at a couple of reviews on here about the customer service of this place and such and people solely basing their ratings on that and also another obnoxious post about a 3 year old being denied the restroom at the moment because they were not a paying customer at the moment.

Most bagel places and small coffee shops have young staff and high rotation team member due to the job in itself. You can't solely base the quality of food, beverages, and treats of this place based on college and high school girls that are there trying to make some spending money. Of course we all have a level of service we expect but let's be honest the level of service has gone down in many establishments over the years and the "I'm just here for a paycheck" mentality is more common than not now.

As far as the 3 year old being denied the restroom because the parent wasn't buying anything. Come on now, the manager obviously has instructions from her boss to not let anyone strolling by use their restrooms. This is just plain business etiquette where they look out for their customers and appearance of their properties (not saying the 3 year old was going to wreck the place) while offering their services to their paying customer at the moment. You act like this is the only place in the world that only allows "paying customers" to use their restroom. They provide food and beverages, they aren't a public restroom. Let's be a little more realistic.

So for my review!! I think this place is great! They recently put a spinach casserole on their menu and I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. It was excellent. Their bagels are always fresh and moist. They don't cut shortcuts when making the bagels and the bakery items are always excellent. The service can be a little slow at times but for the most part you receive a great meal and the coffee is always fresh. Don't let the reviews scare you away from a great bagel place. Try it for yourself and be your own judge. Keep doing your thing Fish...

I really wanted to love FishHawk Bagels, and in many ways, I still do. The story behind it—an owner from New York bringing authentic bagels to the community—is something I truly appreciate. And when it comes to the bagels themselves, you can tell they’re the real deal. The crispy exterior and chewy interior make it clear these are properly boiled bagels, just like they should be.

There’s a lot to like about this place! The service was friendly, the store has ample seating for groups of all sizes, and the owner, Mr. Ramos, was working alongside his team, which is always great to see. Plus, a drive-thru for a bagel shop? That’s a fantastic convenience!

That said, a few things held back my experience. A big part of choosing a bagel is seeing the selection, but with the focus shifting toward the drive-thru, the display is hidden from customers inside the store. I’d love to see that changed. My everything bagel also had very little seasoning—whether it was left sitting too long before being coated or just didn’t get enough in the first place, it missed that signature bold flavor. Lastly, while I asked for my bagel toasted, it came out nearly burnt.

Overall, I’d still recommend FishHawk Bagels for the quality and authenticity, but a few tweaks would take this place to the next level. I’ll definitely be back, hoping for a better...

I am a repeat customer who comes through the drive thru 3-4 x a week. The last few times our buttered and toasted bagels had very little butter on them, I’d say borderline dry! So we decided to go in and eat in today. Both of our bagels had the smallest amount of butter on them. I went to the counter to ask for more butter and explained to the owner who was standing there that our bagels were barely buttered. You’d think I asked for gold! The owner was extremely rude, unfriendly and didn’t even acknowledge me!! started yelling about the butter to someone else. A worker came up and gave me 2 little wrapped squares of butter, I said i am sorry, I’ll need a few more. She goes to get more and comes back and tell me a manager will come talk to me about the butter. So I go get one of the bagels and show her..she takes the two squares of butter back. Takes my bagel and adds butter to it… I understand product cost etc but seriously??? The owner needs to learn some serious customer service skills! And possibly take his own advice as there is a sign by the register that says something like … don’t be rude to our employees… and the way HE talked to his own employees and his customers is unsettling. Won’t be back just because of his lack in...

We decided to finally try Fishhawk Bagels, and ordered in the drive-thru. I'm not a breakfast person (usually I skip the meal altogether), but this was definitely worth the trip! The menu was a little overwhelming since we'd never been before, but the attendant was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a quick, but thorough manner. Having worked drive-thru as a teenager, I was impressed how pleasant she was with our confusion and hesitation in what to pick. Once at the drive-thru, the aroma from the restaurant smelled SO good (again coming from a person who does not like breakfast food). I attached pictures of what we chose. On the rare occasions when I order a bagel, I chose my "usual" which was the Nova. Both bagels were toasted to perfection, not overly hard — that perfect blend in-between; and the taste was surprisingly savory. I'm from the Tri-State area, so my standards are somewhat high. I am very glad it did not disappoint. I just might consider breakfast more than once a month at this point, because I would gladly visit here again.

We’re new to the area and we’re searching for a good bagel place. Unfortunately, this wasn’t it. To start, all their baked goods (which didn’t look too “good”) were thrown into a half-empty display case. Each one was individually wrapped in layers of plastic wrap. Not a good sign. More importantly, we paid $8 for 6 bagels that were disgusting. They’re supposed to be cheddar, but the only thing cheddarly about them is the color. They were given to us in a brown paper bag, so it wasn’t until we got home that we discovered every one of them was burned on the bottom. Not just burned, but charred black. Inedible, they ended up in the trash - along with our $8. Don’t bother.
