First time there and just a bad experience all around. It was a Saturday night, and it really wasn't as busy as the waitress kept apologizing for. There were 10 tables in my section and 4 of them had people. We ordered three things, two rolls of sushi (they were tasty, but made hurriedly and looked ugly) and a kids menu rice and noddles dish. The sushi came out almost immediately, and like I said, was tasty, but was made in a haste. The roll was to be wrapped in seaweed and rolled in rice, then topped with crabmeat. Krabmeat is what I got. Semantics I know, but put the "K" on the menu, don't make people think they are getting crab and not surimi. The rolls were small compared to most other local sushi places, and just didn't foot the bill. The kids meal of RICE AND NOODLES with some shrimp took almost 45mins to come out. RICE and NOODLES. Uncle Ben's makes them in 90 seconds. This was my 2yr olds food. Her mother and I were done with our food before hers came. And when it came it was all cold. The shrimp were like ice. She LOVES shrimp and refused to eat those. The noodles were cold except for where they touched the rice, which was the only thing that was warm and tasted good on the plate. What made it worse is that we were not once asked how the meal was, if it was to our liking. We made several complaints and we were told "sorry its a busy night". No attempt to make the situation better was even offered. What's even worse is that as soon as we got there I could hear another gentleman by the restroom making the same argument to the manager. THAT should have been the warning sign for us to leave. Needless to say, we were extremely excited to eat here since our favorite sushi restaurant is 20miles away, but I would rather drive 100miles for decent sushi than ever eat here again. And I will make sure to share that with...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant before but was called a different name a few months ago and always enjoyed food and service. I dined out today and the food was great but the service was horrible. The guy cooking hiabachi cooked the meal and went on his way. After the last vegetable was put on plate the waitress handed the bill and boxes. All of this took about 25mins. I go and ask the front desk if maybe I could get some drinks to finish meal or are we expected to leave and the lady just put her hand in my face and said "no finish".. being perturbed at this I just wanted to go. While leaving asked for Manger and turns out it was the one who put her hand in my face. Explaining to her the service she just gave was rude to the point of uncomfortable. Asked her for comment card and she looked quite confused... she asked the white guy next to her as if he could clarify. She completely ignored me and acted like she did not understand English. Because of her behavoir i asked to speak with the manager and the guy said "she's the manager"... I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy dinning out. But if your intrested in paying over $30 a plate for fast food, giving a tip for 25 min of service based off bill...and getting a hand in your face for asking a glass to be refilled then you found...
