Five Star Pizza - Bradenton — Restaurant in Florida

Delivery guy stood by customer as he yelled at me through passenger window, through husband, in front of child for parking in front of delivery entrance. I was picking up an uber order like ive done a million times before at this restaurant. I didnt block anyone and was supposed to be in and out. It was unfortunate that if the business had an issue why they couldnt have been more professional and told me while I was in the store during pickup. Also when I usually work graveyard so every pickup from them has been through the left side delivery entrance. I get there today a Sunday around 9 or 10ish and entered where I usually enter through left side delivery entrance and no one says anything to me for about three minutes and they are definately fully staffed, around 8 workers. I said Wow must be really busy cause they were all working but staring at me. So I say, Hi everyone, Im the uber pick up for so and so and they talked to me like Im dumb with a fake smile and say, Im just wondering why youre on this side and not the dine in side. Finding out they have a sign placed higher than eyesight on delivery door to go to other side if before 11pm. I said well I cant read yalls mind when Im on the dine in side. I will not stop picking up from here because its my job and i wont park in front of entrance like I had a million times before. I definately know which door to use at what hour now but I just cant get past how unprofessional the workers in this establishment are!! What happened to Great customer service!! Just downright rude! I feel like because I just may be taking away some deliveries from this place therefore they would love if I nevered returned. When they told me that most of the uber drivers cancel pick ups from them, now I dont have to wonder why. Also one more thing, please have these workers wear hairnets and gloves. One too many times I see the manager lady with glasses touching her glasses and then grabbing cheese to put on pizza. Even after touching the phone and computer. Wash your hands or change gloves. Hair falling over visor. 2 Guys with long hair, one tied back but didnt even have a visor and the others wasnt even restrained at all and no visor. Restaurant needs class on food safety and hygiene. Boy, the restaurant business sure...

A Small, "Mom & Pop" kinda place. You can Dine-In, Carry-Out, or they Deliver (Not sure how far out from their location they will deliver.) There is a minimum purchase amount for delivery and just like EVERY other Pizza Place that delivers,there's a small delivery fee. *They have special deals that are Only for partons that are Dining In. There's a few Booths to sit at and each has it's own television. Also a couple High-Tops too. When I do Order from there, I'm over at a fellow couple's house with my husband and our friend's house is located less then a mile from Five Star's Location. So, we always call in the order and do Carry-Out. EVERY TIME I've called in an order, the quoted wait time has yet to be longer then 15-20 minutes. Prices are very reasonable! The product quality is amazing! I tell you what, you can really taste the difference between their Pizza and a Pizza from 1 of those commercials we've all seen! *If you're a Garlic Lover, like me, You HAVE to get an order of HAND-MADE Garlic Knots! $3.99 for 6 (almost positive its 6) and they will blow your Garlic Lovin' Mind! They're just smaller then the size of an average muffin, beautifully crafted/ knotted, with just the right amount of Butter, Parmesan, and fresh minced Garlic galore that's Perfectly baked to Golden fluffiness EVERY TIME! ~There ARE other Items on the Menu. Think "Pizza Place", Not "Italian Restaurant" and you'll have an idea of their menu items. Difference is, all of their stuff is Fresh and Hand made. My friend had on of their Fresh, Handmade Salads and she was in heaven! So, if you're in the mood for Pizza, look up their menu here on google and give then a try. Oh yeah, and FYI: Their 12 inch Pizza, is enough to feed me and 2 other people! It has 6 large slices of pizza, that's 2 a peice for the 3 of us and is the perfect amount! Got a coupon in the mail for a free 1 topping pizza so we decided to give it a try. My kid will only eat cheese and pinapple so we got that as the free one and bought an extra large pizza with steak, onions, green peppers and jalapenos for us and also some Garlic knots. The major problem was I specifically asked the guy placing the order if the jalapenos were pickled or fresh because I have an alergy to the brine that is used for pickled jalapenos. He didn't know and said he was going to ask a manager. Then said the manager said they were fresh. When we got the pizza there was hardly any steak at all and halfway through my first slice I realized the jalepenos were definately pickled and not fresh due to the texture. I ended up only eating the bread knots and am hoping I don't break out in hives from the slice I already ate. I bread knots were actually pretty delicious though. Everyone else who ate the pizza said the pizza was mediocre and paper thin although the pinapple tasted fresh and not canned so that's good I guess. All in all pretty...
