Biggest waste of time and money! The whole process was so frustrating from sign ups to classes no one had the right information. Then when i started they put me in with the hybrid class which messed up my schedule. When i started my third class their program would not allow me to get access to my assignments, the program representative emailed my teacher and told her not to hold my assignments against me because it was an error on their end. But she still gave me zeros for those assignments. The same teacher also gave me an assignment with a video attached that was in Spanish and told me to comment on it I don't speak Spanish. She couldn't even get the page numbers right. Then the last two weeks of the class she didn't even show up and had another instructor try to teach me while running her class. I was so far behind in the last 2 weeks we did not review any of the material she failed me on the assignments that we had not even reviewed and I ended up failing the class. Keep in mind I had made top of the class on my first ocp and aced my CPR class. I didn't realize I had signed up for a self-taught ocp during that last round of classes. As far as the unprofessionalism I waited an hour after my class had started for her to start teaching me while she sat there and talked to a previous student she had. In the end I had paid well over $2,000 for a CPR certification and a core completion certificate. I have never met a teacher that not only killed my motivation but was extremely unprofessional. Not only was her assignments unclear but she did not show up half the time then holds you responsible when you don't know what needs to be done. I have emails where i would ask her questions about the assignments and her replies she would not even address my questions but lecture me about how i need to address her and about how she tries to make it as clear as possible. I have even showed these emails to other teachers and they couldnt make any sense of it either. I feel like I didn't get a fair chance and definitely did not get my money's worth. I have had other people ask me about my experience at the school and I tell them to go somewhere else it's not worth the headache. Also when I tried to address the program director Not only was my phone calls not returned but I was avoided when I would come to the school to speak in person. I really don't know how the school still an accredited school with it being so...
Read moreSomehow my review keeps getting deleted.... Weird... But anyways I'll put it on again. So it took a total of 3 weeks for them to return my phone calls, and then they don't even know where I can get the application to even apply to the school. So the guidance counselor says she'll call me back when she figures things out. I'm assuming she didn't figure things out because I didn't get a call back. I'm a veteran, I left the air force so that I can go to school and start a new chapter and they were completely unorganized and unwilling to help me. I ended up going to meridian, and in a single day I was enrolled in the course that I wanted. It seems to me that MTC just simply doesn't care, there also seems to be a lack of knowledge in the counselor department. Whatever, I guess they didn't want my money. Five stars...
