Had high hopes for this place, but ultimately was disappointed. The best part of the meal was the Grace-roni rolls, which is dough stuffed with pepperoni, mozzarella, ranch, marina, you get the idea. After that it was downhill. The whipped ricotta appetizer was dry, grainy and murdered with red pepper. The Wagyu meatballs were rubbery and tasted like there was a ton of filler in them. Asked for a milkshake menu after we ordered appetizers, but the server never brought it out. As an entree, we ordered the Supreme Grace to share, which has a bit of everything on it. Wanted to love this pizza, but the flavors all just sort of tasted like the same thing. After struggling through half a slice, I realized that the Ranch dressing spiral was probably the culprit. After dinner the server brought the check, and I reminded him about the milkshake menu. He was like “oh yeeaahh. I’ll go grab those”, but seemed a bit sheepish. Came back a few minutes later to let us that he was just informed by the kitchen that they were out of ice cream, and the delivery wouldn’t come in til tomorrow. Now this is 5:30pm mind you, not 9 o’clock at closing. And SHAKES is on the freakin’ sign! Send someone to the GD corner market to get through the shift for christsake! It’s almost as if they they knew all along that they didn’t have ice cream, but waited until everyone on the patio was finished eating to announce it. I politely suggested to the server that they give each table that had already finished dinner some sort of voucher for just ONE complimentary shake for the next day as a customer service gesture, but that advice fell upon deaf ears. Well Grace, here’s the truth. Your food is just so-so, your guest service is terrible, and your $22 shakes?…...
Read moreI want so bad to like this place but there several issues.
Went there for the calzone. Looked up what places near me had good calzones and their “The Randolph” sounded the best around. Biked 8 miles to eat get it. e-bike though so not so much the effort but the time.
Ordered a beer and water to start. Never got the water. No big deal. Ordered the Randolph with a side of marina and garlic butter. Calzone was very doughy. Might be my fault slightly as I normally order calzones well done given they’re often under cooked. It was ok but too doughy. Got a second beer and it was 1/3 foam / head. Made a comment and the sever did acknowledge it. I let her know the calzone was doughy when she asked and she comped the beer. Good move.
What I didn’t care for after that was the calzone was $21 but their menu on their website said $18. Plus the marina and garlic butter were $2 each. So the calzone with sauces ended up being $25! Not sure how a calzone doesn’t come with marina automatically. Was expecting an up charge for the garlic butter. The price vs what the site said was a put off.
My advice. Fix the website and give a sauce with the calzone as standard. Charge for the extra sauce. They did get hit with a wave of people after me so I’m sure that played a factor but still not a great product or experience. I would try them...
Read moreI don't normally leave reviews but after what just happened and because now I'm waiting on other food to be made somewhere else, I have time. I ordered my pizza for my family of 5 at 530p that was supposed to be ready at 7p. My oldest kiddo and I went to pick up said pizzas at 7pm and the boy in the front said "l'm sorry, I don't have your order" so I shared my online receipt with him. He said I don't have it and will be an hour before I can make it for you. I asked about what food I should feed my 3 kids at 7p now, he said "I don't know." I asked if there was any other food he could give us given we just drove 8 hrs and have nothing to feed my 3 kids and orders pizzas and hour and half ago. He said could make caesar salads, awesome, just what my 3 year old wants. I asked him about my refund and he told me id have to write an email!?!?!?He then wished us "a good night". We just drove 8 hours, have no food to feed my 3 kids under 8 years old. Thank you Grace for an awesome arrival and welcoming. We will NEVER come for a pizza here. And as I can tell from your service, you won't care. Fyi, We went to cowgirl kitchen where the service is awesome and the food is great too, not pizza all my boys wanted, but reliable, great, and quick. Y'all should go there! From a tired...
