Words cannot describe the feeling of fullness (of the soul as well as the stomach)and joy you will walk away with after a visit to Grandma Wans. I never expected to find this small tucked away gem but now that I have I will never stop going. Grandma Wan cooks her food with such love and energy and she shows that same love to all of her customers. Our first visit she was so incredibly welcoming! She even took the time to show us her garden where she picks ingredients fresh for the dish she was about to make for us. There is something about the energy she puts into the food and the warmth she shows to you that has you walking away feeling incredibly happy. If you have had a bad week I highly suggest you stop in to have some spectacular Thai food and a much needed reset. Our two favorites are the coconut lemongrass soup (on Saturday) Thai basil stir fry and the Curry! Whether you need a delicious thai iced coffee, iced tea or just to eat, Grabdma Wan has something for everybody!!! Grandma Wan is the kindest most caring woman I am so happy to have met her and will be a returning customer!!! Her story is so heartwarming, just like her food! My boyfriend has been to thailand and he says her food is exactly what he would eat in thailand. Having grown up on street food, Grandma Wan truly captures the essence of bold flavor and eating from all the delicious vendors on the streets of thailand. I have never had Thai food. That all changed today. A beautiful soul - Grandma Wan, an exceptional human who cooks from her heart with so much love in every bite. I had the Pad Thai for lunch and brought the chicken with vegetables home for dinner. Everything including her homemade Spring Rolls are worthy of a parade in her honor. The Jasmine iced drink was an all night carnival in my mouth. There is still a party going on. I’m returning for Round 3 before the week is out and bringing friends. This lovely quaint experience is a lost art. I do feel Anthony Bourdain would give high praises for this delightful spot. Grandma Wan? Thank you for my delicious food!
