Great food. I don't think the waiter liked me though. The 1st 2 things I asked him for got basically denied. I'm a big tipper (up to 200%) if they make me happy. He didn't so he got left with the standard 20%. 1. I wanted a seat in the side area and he said no, even though there were 2 tables seated back there. True they might have been closing that area, but normally places make exceptions when it (people) seems worth it. I guess I didn't fit the bill. 2. We all still had our jackets on (most of the customers). I asked him to turn the heat up and he said he VERY relinctantly said he would a tiny bit. I've lived in Jersey for 38 years and I love the snow. If I keep my jacked on the whole meal, it must've be cold. Food was great, service not so much, place was clean. Id order out next time. At least till the weather breaks. O and he said the chicken parm could come with vegetables. If u come here, ASK what vegetables. Idk what he gave me but it was flavorless. I should've gotten the noodles.

We enjoyed a nice family date night dinner here with 4 adults and 3 toddlers. The place was pretty empty on a Tuesday night, which is good for families with toddlers, since you never know how they're going to act. The waiter was friendly and made some great suggestions. They do have high chairs and a very affordable and delicious kids menu. The kids chicken fingers was AMAZING. it's basically a cut up chicken breast that is seasoned like chicken parmesan. The mozzarella sticks were also great. I had the grilled chicken bruschetta which was so yummy. My only complaint with my dish is that the description said it had kalamata olives, but the dish came with black olives instead. It was still good, but I missed the saltiness that kalamata olives bring. I will definitely go back go this restaurant, especially to try some of their brick oven pasta dishes! First off, it is worth noting this establishment is in a shopping center. Walking in the decor is very visually pleasing and slightly overwhelming. The staff was very whimsical and not very service oriented. It gives off the atmosphere of trying to feel high end at affordable prices. The calamari (no pictured) was chewy and sparsely breaded with zero flavor. My daughter ate the angel hair pasta with red sauce. My son had the spaghetti with meatballs. Both were in credibly bland. Children have tastebuds too! I had the Chicken Marsala and the chicken was fried so much, it was tough to cut into. The Marsala sauce tastes as if it had soured. My husband ate the Cafe Land and Sea and that was the only decently flavored dish. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Overall, I was extremely underwhelmed for the fact our bill was 69.17!

I’ve been to this restaurant a bunch of times as it is close to my home, and I’ve always enjoyed the meals here. Plenty to eat, home-style cooking, and wonderful service at good prices. I was reading the reviews and noticed Angie’s review below, and was severely disappointed at the comments written, as I was there when this big party arrived at the restaurant. It was difficult not to notice as the restaurant is small and they were a big party of people. Unlike Angie’s claims, there were 9 people, who all came in and ordered bread (which is complimentary and delicious) and waters all around. I didn’t really start paying attention fully until the manager and the woman (who I assume is Angie) began discussing, and out of the 9 people at the table, apparently only 3 of them had ordered something to eat, demanding three different tables to sit everyone and full use of the servers to accommodate 9 people for only three dishes. I can understand when people choose not to eat (I have a small appetite as well) but for 9 people to plan to meet for dinner at a nice restaurant, with only 3 of those people eating, and 6 people “choosing not to eat” at all and just munch on bread, seems quite odd to me. I’m disappointed at this “local guide’s” claims as this restaurant has only ever provided me and my family excellent service. I tried contacting google but found their report options insufficient as it didn’t even allow me to explain the situation. I hope her comment can be corrected, and we can continue to enjoy dining at our wonderful local...

The first time my family and I went here, we were pleased and loved the food. Service was good - no issues. The second time we ordered to-go from here and they messed up one of the meals. Not a big issue for us, mistakes happen. However, this third time around we order to-go again and it was awful. When we ordered over the phone, they told us 30 min, not a problem. My husband and I arrive after about 25 and he goes in to pick it up. He gives them a name and they said it would be ready soon. My husband waits for 15 min, before he asked again. They tell him they lost the order. My husband waits another 30 before asking again. They tell him its not ready. Other people who have come and ordered at the desk, after my husband had been handed their food and left. My husband is tired of standing at the desk, and gives the restaurant his number so he can wait in the car as he's been waiting for 45min. He and I sat in the car for another 20 min before they called him again. He asked to speak to the manager as we haven't had this issue before. The manager completely ignored my husband and didn't respond to him until my husband called him out on his behavior. The manager seemed completely unbothered by the fact they lost our order and waited close to an hour before we got our new food. He said he had customers to take care of...what exactly were we doing there then?? They still forgot a part of our meal and we had to go back and ask for it. We should have cut our losses and went somewhere different. Unfortunately we won't...

The food is very good, but very expensive! I usually order takeout, so when I order the eggplant dinner I expect bread, but they are very frugle and especially if you ask for x-tra stuff! Not only do they charge you, but they dont give you enough, so when I ordered a side of meatballs one night and an eggplant dinner, it came to almost $25.00 with x-tra bread and parmasean cheese on the side, which by the way was the very cheapest quality parmasean cheese,Very dissapointed with the x-tra charges, wouldnt you think being a regualar customer you would get that at no charge, not here my freinds, that x-tra stuff should come complimantary with all meals, so one night I ordered the special seafood pasta and eggplant dinner, then he asked me if I wanted the salad with it, I said: sure that would be great! Little did I know when I arrived to pick up my order my bill was nearly $50.00 dollars! I was shocked, the food was good, but not that good! That place is way overpriced for italian food in the area especially with so many others in town. I could make close or better at very lowcost, its just a big mess to clean, and have plenty of leftovers, there they just give you enough so you dont have nothing left for the next day. Overall not bad food if you dont ask for anything x-tra! Trust me you will PAY a very heavy price for 3-4 pieces of bread and cheap knockoff grated cheese from sweet bay. I Would go back if they learn to give a little more for takeout orders. overall very freindly...
