The food was SO good. Tried the horchata (non alcoholic) served in a nice big cup, birria tacos, papusas, and quesabirria (birria quesadilla). Portions were not big, but not too small, somewhere in the middle. Tres leches cake for dessert. It was a good sized piece, not small, it was moist throughout which is amazing and had the liquid sitting at the bottom without being soggy so that was great, flavor wise it was bland, I added vanilla to it when we got home (just poured some on top and in the liquid) and it was a game changer, perfection. The staff we interacted with spoke English and Spanish. They were very patient and friendly. The atmosphere was not really decorative, just a counter to order, another counter to order coffee and whatever dessert they had on display. Some seating near the front and also more towards the back. Some booths and some free-floating tables (small but fine). Price for food was moderate but not ghastly. Will absolutely go there again, many times (not too close together because $$). Went for amazing food, got amazing food. 8/10

We stopped by for lunch during the week. They have a few Filipino options but it’s mostly Latin options. I ordered Yucca con chicharron. I thought the price was a little high until I got my order and it was a huge portion. Pork was crispy and big chunks and the yucca was crispy also and the sauce served with it was excellent. My wife ordered pollo con tajada, lots of fried green bananas over fried chicken. She would have liked the chicken separated from the bananas because it made the nicely crispy chicken a little soggy pretty quick. We got an order of lumpia also and they were pretty good but got soggy on the ride home. The house made sauces were really good. We also took home some flan and tres leche cake. Flan was great but the cake was a little too milky for me. An entree will easily feed two adults. Plan accordingly.

Best darn chilaquiles ever. Great customer service, and family oriented. It absolutely warmed my heart seeing one of the gals sons, run up to give her a hug. I absolutely love seeing strong family values. When you walk in it's got a great large atmosphere, the building shotguns to wide open space so you're not feeling cramped. The air conditioning is amazing. I Bobtailed in my tractor, though I probably could have had my trailer attached, and found parking to be extremely easy. It was easy to get back on the road once I got my order. I had the chilaquiles with chile verde. It was so flavorful I haven't had Mexican food like that and a very long time. Definitely saving this spot for the next time I'm in Pensacola.

Went there today, wished I hadn't!! Had the steak fajitas, my boyfriend had the chicken and fries. The menu is in Spanish, he didn't know what he ordered. Steak fajitas was strips of steak, onions and some peppers but had NO seasoning AT ALL on it! The rice was Uncle Ben's chicken pilaf and the black beans tasted ruined and soured, the small round tortillas were rubbery and wet, they were gross!. No salsa, no sour cream, no pico, no flavor. My boyfriends fried chicken was good with frozen crinkle fries. It was so bland! Only had coke, diet coke and sprite in CANS for $2 each, what a rip off!! We got cake too, plain vanilla cake with whip cream on top that had melted some in the bottom in a puddle. Took one bite without the soggy bottom part and pushed it away. The 'indoor' seating....when I walked in the door it smelled STRONGLY of moth balls!! I thought I was mistaken and it was from remodeling and some kind of stain, paint, etc. IT WASN'T!! In the bathroom on the back of the toilet in a decorative small wooden crate was a twist up air freshener and on each side was a net bag of MOTH BALLS!!!!!!!!!! 2 bags of MOTH BALLS in the bathroom!! No wonder I had a horrible headache!! I don't know what kind of bug problem they have but they need to call an exterminator instead of the strong smell of MOTH BALLS making their customers sick! How ghetto!!!!! After I left the bathroom I went outside for fresh air. I didn't feel good after we left, my stomach felt weird with growing nausea. When we got home I took some medicine and went to bed. Do yourself a favor and NEVER eat here!! Or go in the MOTH BALL room to eat!!! Fumes from moth balls are toxic!!! "According to the National Pesticide Information Center (NPIC), the chemicals use in mothballs can be toxic to humans and pets and as people are exposed to these chemicals that are released as toxic fumes in the air space of the home. Mothballs slowly turn from solids to toxic vapor. When you smell mothballs, you are inhaling the insecticide." Call an exterminator!! GROSS GROSS GROSS PLACE!! And I STILL have a bad headache 13...

I absolutely love this place. I want to start with food I've had. My recommendation, Tajadas con pollo, is my personal favorite. This is a dish filled with flavors. It's fresh crispy fried chicken together with slices of semi thin green bananas that had been fried similar to plantain chips. Over you have drizzled some sauce, pickled onions and cabbage .... it's magic. I've also had the Baliada, which is always on point. I get it with the carne asada (grilled steak). My wife and I always share, so I tried the birria tacos 9/10, the chilaquilles 9/10, marisco soup 8/10, tres leches 8/10(cream and cake lacked sweetness, carne asada 10/10!. I really want to keep trying more on their menu, but I'm always craving the last thing I have because everything is just so good. The portions are perfect, too. They also have drinks besides soda like a delicious mango slushy I just had. They also have horchata and other natural drinks. The atmosphere is bright and family and group friendly. They have plenty of space to serve many. You walk in order at the register and your meal will be taken to you. The staff is always welcoming when I go and quick service. You have to go and try it out. Under-rated I give the place 10/10 I'm gonna...
