1-800-6BURGER is the complaint line. By far the worst Whataburger I’ve ever been to. If you are familiar with how bad the Burger King is at Fairfield and Mobile Hwy you now have a restaurant that’s even worse. I have been coming to this location because it’s close to my business. I only get taquitos and they’re always tiny and tucked in on both sides unlike any Whataburger I’ve been to before. The lines average 20-40 minutes at the drive through between midnight and 4am, and the police come on a regular occurrence. No kidding last week 3 nights in a row. On several occasions customers have exited their vehicles to fight, use their cars to block each other, and throw things. If you don’t see the police you can look forward to the staff arguing with each other and quitting or getting fired behind the building while taking smoke breaks. You may even get to see the manager come out of the building and yell at the line of cars telling them to go somewhere else. If you became a regular like myself you got the special treat of getting all the gossip first hand while your order is held hostage until they finish their therapy session and hand it to you.
Tonight I pulled up and was amazed to see no cars in the drive through. I thought what luck. There was a supply truck right behind the drive through speaker and I faintly heard the person say go ahead. I gave my order and they responded but I couldn’t hear what they said. I said would you mind if I just pull around because I can’t hear you. They then yelled (no exaggeration) as loud as they could something about a taquito, but it was so distorted I didn’t catch it all. This was all the abuse I could stand and left.
I called to speak to the manager while I was at the nicer Whataburger on Mobile Hwy. I said hey I come just about every night and filled her in on what happened. It turns out it was her on the drive through she says and argued with me that she didn’t do that and that she said to please hold. I figured she must not have known a guy had been talking to me so I reiterated what was said to me. She interrupted me again saying she never said that and began to recount to me the history of her exchanges with how many people she spoke to recently. She was pretty heated and argumentative which is typical of my experience with this location. Mind you this entire conversation is over my cars hands free speaker while I’m at the window of the Mobile Hwy Whataburger and the staff is listening in on the call.
I decided to end the conversation by saying that I would not be returning to her location, but it was apparent she knew what I was going to say and hung up on me before I could say it.
I am making it a point to get in touch with corporate to suggest they clean house with this location. Bring in a couple managers to train new staff and get this location in line with the franchise.
The Mobile Hwy location is so much nicer, cleaner, friendlier and professional. I feel stupid for tolerating the bad service and dangerous conditions at this location just to save 3...

Me and my boyfriend went here one night. It was late around maybe 1AM maybe even close to 2AM. We had been painting the house and renovating it as well so, we were exhausted and hungry.
We are very understanding with the food industry and we know accidents happen and places get super busy especially this location. This location just so happened to be my first job ever when I was 15 & it has always been either steady with business or really busy, I am now 30.
When me and my boyfriend came inside to order, there was no one but 2 workers in the dinning room area, clearly on their lunch since they were eating, while the drive thru was begining to wrap around the building, as it does frequently. We ordered our food and people started coming in to order.
Once we got our food(we took to go), we could tell things got a little hectic with employees running back and forth but they still smiled and remained as calm as they can, getting the orders and bringing customers food out.
We live out off 95A in Molino. For those who dont know where that is, its in the middle of nowhere lol. There are really no close fast food places which explains why we drove about 20 to 30mins, depending on traffic, to get food.
We knew we would probably have to heat it up once we got home. No biggie to us, we could have eaten a horse with how hungry we were 😂🤣
Upon opening the bag we quickly realized we got the wrong order when we saw what was suppose to be fries, onion rings, what was suppose to be 2 burgers, a salad and chicken salad.
I called just to let them know & the manager was so sympathetic to the mistake they made while I contiously reassured him that it was completely okay and asked if we could possibly pick up the correct order the next day. Me and my boyfriend did not like any of what was in the bag unfortunately but again, it was alright. The manager accepted my request and also informed us that the number they give you after ordering that they call out to get your food, was given twice. Simple mistake. The manager was still so apologetic about the accident.
The very next day we walked in to get the order & the manager had to verify with the cook, seeing if he remembered making our order. My boyfriends burger had alot of odd request so it would be pretty easy to remember lol. He agreed to remembering making it for us.
Once I got the food and we decided to eat in the parking lot due to us having to make a couple of pit stops before arriving home, we found 2 cookies & a little note saying “here at Whataburger we take pride in satisfying of our customers and we lack in that area, its our priority to go above and beyond to delegate it and show out appreciation so, from us at Whataburger, here is a little something to show our appreciation for another chance to show you we do appreciateyou for allowing us to serve you again”
A simple little gesture such as that, a handwritten note at that, made me and my boyfriend feel welcomes and that is why this is our number 1 pick of any fast food restaurants...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I frequent this place so much that my stack of receipts can’t be folded to put a paperclip through it. (I keep all my receipts for records.) our experience is always up-and-down, but mostly down we come to this location due to its convenience in relation to where we live, and where we travel through to get to work. Sometimes we come here between 1 to 3 times a day even if it’s for just a milkshake and apple pies and cookies. Today my boyfriend went to go inside to get a milkshake and before we left I said for him to wait on me. I’m going inside to use the restroom. I am aware that they have a lock on the restrooms and I am also aware that they are busy during lunch rush, but I am respectful and I actually stay in line and wait for my turn to talk to the cashier tell her that I needed someone to unlock the bathroom door so I can go and use it. I was patient enough to stay in line but when I saw an opportunity to ask another employee that was passing by if I could use the restroom, she completely ignored me. I said it loud enough for her to hear but I shrugged it off and figured I will wait to talk to the cashier since I was coming up next. There was only another Couple waiting to order behind me. I told the cashier I just needed to use the restroom and that my boyfriend had already ordered. She replied with an attitude saying “ma’am, you just gonna have to wait a minute“. That is exactly what I’m doing is waiting a minute, waiting my turn because I was respecting the fact that they were busy, so when she finished with the last couple in line’s order, I then reminded her that I needed to use the restroom. She had annoyed And just turned her back to me, and started doing something else, while the first lady who I asked earlier that ignored me turned to her and asked her, “Who needs to use the restroom?” Now I know she heard me the first time and this time she didn’t even even acknowledge that I was the one who asked and she asked her coworker, who ignored me. The cashier was that needed to use the restroom when I was the one standing there patiently waiting. I am not one to make complaints and that is why through all the months that we have been consistently coming here multiple times a day I just ignore the horrible service we encounter and just take it as a Part of our experience, since there are some other times that we have decent service. But today I have just had it. I patiently waited for my turn just to use the restroom and was met with attitude and just plain inexcusable terrible customer service. It truly makes me not want to come back here because what a shame to drive out of our way just to get our...
