————- We went for the “all-you-can-eat” breakfast buffet at Las Olas, and the experience was very disappointing. The food had little variety, and there was no clear indication of what was included and what was not. The service was terrible: they did not correctly explain what was part of the buffet menu. We were told that drinks (water, coffee, juices, and milk) were included, yet we were later charged $8 for an espresso. To make things worse, the espresso was poorly made, served in the wrong type of cup, and had an unpleasant taste due to evident limescale buildup in the coffee machine — clearly from lack of cleaning. When we complained, the waitress replied, "An espresso is not coffee”, and “that’s just how it is.” Simply frustrating. Instead of attending to customers, the servers were standing in a corner chatting among themselves and chewing gum, which is completely unprofessional. The restaurant’s atmosphere also left much to be desired: parts of the décor were covered in dust, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the chairs were worn out and dirty, clearly in need of replacement. This is especially disappointing considering this is the breakfast buffet of a luxury resort, as advertised on Marriott’s official website.

We had a great dinner here and I have no complaints. It really made everyone happy. Yeah it’s a little overpriced and I’d like to see one to two more things on the menu but it was perfect after a long day in the sun. The staff was AWESOME and ATTENTIVE. The food was delicious too. The bread was spectacular. Spaghetti and meatballs was really good. The garden salad was spot on. And we also enjoyed the margarita pizza we were too stuffed to enjoy dessert. Absolute must do at the place.

The menus has something for everyone, so you'll find something to like. Our group of five tried the bruschetta, house and Carsar salads, steak, swordfish, grouper, and chicken. No complaints and it all got eaten. The service was . . .sweet. So much effort, I felt they could have served me horse manure and I'd have said I loved it. Martini was decent.

We stayed at the Playa Largo resort for 10 nights in early December. Each morning we had the breakfast buffet, which was one of the most comprehensive and best breakfast buffets we ever had. Service was extraordinary. Among our fantastic servers were Paul, Greg, Winsome and Judith. And each morning Fritz made amazing omelettes that he personally delivered to the table.

The ambiance both inside and on the patio outside is very nice. We really enjoyed each breakfast. 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere.

Dinner, unfortunately, was a different story, which is why we had dinner here only twice. The first time we ordered chicken parm, which had a nice sauce but chicken that was very tough to chew, and center cut salmon, which was prepared nicely. However the second time the salmon was a tail cut and just didn't taste right. The pepperoni pizza was tasty, though nothing like what we get at home in NJ. 5 stars for service and atmosphere, but 3 for food.

Bottom line: A wonderful place for breakfast, but not the...

I can't thank YOLY enough...my wife and I were strolling on the beautiful grounds of playa largo early morning and walked right into the most welcoming person we have ever encountered. We were underdressed (what we thought) and Yoly seen us and demanded that we come in for breakfast. We were hesitant but she insisted and even offered to pay for our meal. What she didn't know was it was my birthday and she mad my day start off beautifully!!! Not only did she pay for our meal, she also sent a birthday surprise which was a delicious cake to our suite that evening. I can't thank her enough for how she made my wife and I feel on my birthday, if you ever in key largo and want to stay somewhere where they make you feel like family, get to playa largo resort and spa. Thanks again Yoly we will...
