First, they were not even close to ready with my order when I arrived. The application said order to be ready within 20 mins. No, I waited 40mins after arriving. So a total on 1 hr to make fried rice and lo mein from the time I placed the order to completion. Not only that but I realized while waiting how the poor the food standards were. I literally watched the lady at the front wipe SWEAT from her forehead, go to the back, try to help by adding white rice into an order but then ...moved the chicken wings to the side of the styrofoam takeout container WITH HER FINGERS before placing the rice in. Then as I looked up , I noticed steamer bins atop a fridge directly under a mold and dust spewing AC vent. Wow I thought, my family may be lucky if we live through dinner. Also saw a prescription pill jar on the counter in the front as well as an open container/drink cup, 2/3rds cup of water. In restaurants you have to have a lid on your drink around food and prescriptions out of reach so that there are no accidents that could contaminate the food. By the way, when I arrived there was a to-go bag sitting waiting for the driver to pick up and take to the customer. That bag sat and did not move since I left. So I waited 40 min for my food. Imagine ordering chicken, allowing it to sit, get cold and start to turn before even arrives to the customer. 2 other baged orders joined it while no driver came to pick them up. If I have to order Chinese food it's definitely from here!!! Hands down the best Chinese food around but like anything in life you got to give a little to get a little. I drive 30 mins to this place (which is fine) but the attitude these employees have is unreal. I think they fail to realize if it weren't for us hungry customers they wouldn't be in business. I understand customers are not the easiest to deal with I'm always so kind and polite and a good tipper and no matter how much I try they never crack smile and it almost seems like I'm bothering them or they have something better to do. Nonetheless, I always buy from there if I have to get Chinese but they could seriously use an attitude make over. UPDATE June 30, 2023 Bought lunch from here today and my goodness, whatever you guys changed cooks, recipes, ownership, ingredients, quality, please change it back!!! I normally brag how "Lee House is the best around" but after today and the last few times ordering I can no longer preach that. Taste like cheap Chinese food you find in every shopping plaza. Rice was so dry and had absolutely no flavor other than a slight burnt taste from the "fried" rice being cooked in a wok. The chicken eggroll might as well be a cabbage egg roll. My husband had the same complaints. On a better note though, I saw two new faces walking in and the young girl at the counter was very nice and friendly. I’ve ordered from Lee House for years because they have dishes I enjoy, but this last order was a disaster.

I know they tend to run a little late, so I ordered for a 6pm pick up thinking that the buffer would help have it ready when my partner arrived. No, when he got there he was told they had already given the food to someone else, so it had to be remade. By time he was leaving there, it was 7:15. It was the wrong order. I ordered Shrimp and was given chicken, but it’s hard to tell since it is breaded and covered in sauce.

I’m upset at this point and call wanting my money back. They admit the mistake of making chicken instead of shrimp but said I did not pay them so they cannot give me my money back. They claim that paying on the website does not go to them and I would need to contact the person who runs the website.

I never get upset at food workers cause I’ve been there before, but I was very angry that there was no care to fix this problem. I told the woman that it was their phone number on the website, with no other contacting choices. She said the best she could do was store credit, so I ended up driving the twenty minutes again to get the correct order. I was never given an apology or my money back. I didn’t end up eating until almost 9pm on an order that was suppose to be ready and correct at 6pm.

This was suppose to be a celebratory dinner on my last day of work and it was terrible. I don’t care how much I like the food, I will find a new place to order from. They are never getting my...
