Leone's Ristorante & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Florida

So disappointed with our first dine-in meal at Leone‘s. We’ve ordered pizza for pick up several times, and that has always been good. The poor bartender was forced to be waiter, busboy, bartender, etc. There was no one to help him. The other tables each received a basket of bread. We had to request one. Our plates were different colors, with one dirty and one chipped. We had to request fresh, clean plates. Both the written menus and online menu show a grouper Reuben. Not the case when you get there! There are no vegetarian options for sandwiches or paninis. I had to request a chicken dish without the chicken, for which I was charged the full price. We received coupons with our last pizza order. One clearly said “half off dinner entrée”. Then it said “buy 1 dinner entree get a 2nd dinner ….half off”. The coupon below read “buy 1 lunch entree, get 2nd lunch entree”. Below that, it said valid “dine in only 12 PM to 4 PM” with the words “half off”. To us, this clearly meant that one of our lunch entrées was free, especially considering the coupon above it, which was unmistakable. Of course, we did not get one of our lunch entrees for free. So, the restaurant does not have a grouper Reuben; it does not have any vegetarian sandwiches or vegetarian paninis; it issues misleading coupons; and it has insufficient...

I went there the other night and it was a good experience. I got seated fairly quickly and was given my drink of choice (water) almost immediately. Our waiter, as understandable as it is, was not very polite or was quite indifferent on how we were enjoying my meal. I understand it’s stressful but at times he just threw stuff on my table and left without even saying a word. Also, like most places, I assumed there would be complimentary bread…I did not get a basket and the majority of the tables I saw did not expect one or 2 did. I got the bruschetta which was good. I also ordered the penne alla vodka which was good as well…portions are pretty generous. I also never got my garlic bread with my pasta either which I could have asked for but I thought it’s best to leave it out. I would rather get full on real prepared foods than most likely cheap bread. I felt the place was on the more expensive side (but to be fair dining out anywhere now is expensive). Would recommend for first time goers, but I think I am going to explore other restaurants...

I grabbed a seat on the bar and have been treated like a king especially by the cool bartender Jimmy! I've heard rumors and read reviews about certain attitude here but all I can say is, Finally! an Italian place that is also operating like an Italian place which is the opposite of most businesses nowadays being robotically systemic with no soul in their food and no character in the atmosphere. Most businesses do anything to kiss the customer feet to be profitable but it's hard to get a real good food experience that way because it reflect the approach to everything especially the FOOD Which is the point here and is absolutely amazing in this place so when you come here be respectful don't try to change anything or cause problems, be patient, be nice and cooperate with what this place offers and the hard working people that are serving you and you will have a great Italian...
