This place is interesting. I went there on 08/15 and ordered a beer and their antipasto salad. I was really resistant to ordering it because as a girl born and raised in Jersey, I've had some amazing antipasto in my time. The first issue was with the cup the beer came in. It smelled like a sour sponge was used to clean the glass. It's not a huge deal, so I just sent it back and ordered something else. The biggest issue I had was with the salad. In no way, shape, or form would that antipasto salad pass for a traditional one. The ingredients consisted of pepperoni, SMOKED ham (extra emphasis on the smoked part because what the heck, really??), black olives, and green olives. That's it. I took one bite and knew that I couldn't fake my way through that meal. I hate sending stuff back multiple times, but this had to go. Some advice I would give the only waitress working that day would be if someone did not touch their food and did not accept a to go box, maybe ask them what's wrong instead of just handing them their check. I shouldn't have to ask for something to be taken off and then be met with attitude after that. And to Luca's as a whole, either define your "antipasto" salad and its ingredients and say it's your version of one or start serving a traditional antipasto excluding the pepperoni and smoked ham. Also, I'm aware that antipasto means before a meal, but that doesn't mean you should still present someone with pepperoni and smoked ham over lettuce and think it's ok. Thanks!

It's a local Italian restaurant. Have not tried their pizza, i was told it's good. However i am rating this for our 2 trips there. Aside from Thai food, I love love Italian. On our first trip, we ordered chicken alfredo, spaghetti meatballs and lasagna. The chicken was raw. It was bot cooked properly, hard to but and hard to swallow. The white sauce is par. Their bread though is great. The spaghetti and the lasagna was just too sour. On our second visit the chicken was a little better but still need mire cooking! The spaghetti was more sour than the first. My husband loves italian spaghetti, he likes it sour. But he said it's like they pour vinegar in itm I tried it and it was just not good. We put ao much parmesan and it didn't even help. That will be our last visit. I may, but never for thos food again. We might try their pizza one of these days and update this review.

I've been wanting some baked ziti for awhile now and wasn't in the mood to cook it . After a quick Google search I found this place and decided to give it a visit . Ordering was quick and easy and I was offered help with the menu as I haven't been here before . The food was nice and hot and smelt very good . I would of liked to seen more pasta sauce on the baked ziti and also the spaghetti . It was a little dry to me especially the ziti after baking . The garlic knots where pretty good and I liked that the pasta dishes included a side salad or other side options. The Philly cheesesteak could of used more meat and toppings as it was mostly bread and cheese . The taste to everything was amazing though .

The absolute worst italian food I have ever eaten!! We have tried to like this - ordered dinner there three different times for my husband, daughter, and I. The first time, we ordered a couple of pizzas. Was a lot of crust around the edges, very little toppings, and the sauce was very bland and didn't seem seasoned at all. The dark haired waitress was very rude, ignored me standing at the register while she poured herself a Pepsi and drank it. A different waitress asked her if she'd helped me, and almost got her head bitten off for interrupting the first waitress's soda chugging. Second time we ordered dinner takeout - the lasagna for my husband, shrimp fettucine alfredo for my daughter, and spinach ravioli for me. The lasagna was bland and chewy, the alfredo sauce seemed more butter than anything else and her shrimp was still in the shell (bit of a pain to dig it out and peel it while it's covered in butter 😡), and my ravioli was barely warm!! I had the same rude woman waiting on me, this time she ignored me to gossip with a kitchen employee!!! When I called to mention my cold ravioli, I was told that it was my fault for not eating it sooner! I live less than a mile away!!! The third time, the hubby was going to order takeout from another restaurant, but our daughter was wanting Italian for her bday and he knew it was close (and had obviously forgotten my complaining after the previous times since I wasn't home to remind him until after he had already ordered). They were out of lasagna at 6pm, so he ordered shrimp alfredo for our daughter (her fave Italian dish 😉), and the spinach ravioli for each of us. Once again, her alfredo was separating and mostly oil or butter, my ravioli wasn't hot inside, and the hubby's was just warm throughout. He said the older woman who helped him was very nice, but it was apparently really slow and he got to overhear the gossip between 2 waitresses and the cook swearing. To make it even worse, I am typing this review at 2am because I am up with severe heartburn and indigestion and the hubby has been camped out in the bathroom since about an hour after we ate!!!

That is IT!! Three strikes, you're out!! I would only recommend this place to people I can't stand!! I don't know what "authentic Italian restaurants" the 5 star reviewers have been to, but the musty and smelly weird decor, rude staff, and the terrible and overpriced food is SO far from authentic Italian cuisine!!!

THE WORST ITALIAN RESTAURANT THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY ENTIRE 45...

We went to Luca's today for lunch. It was the first time we had been there. My husband and I had a few minutes to get away from the kiddos and we wanted to try a new local place. We were EXTREMELY disappointed.

Luca's is supposed to be an Italian restaurant. The decor (with the exception of a few cheap flags) looks like someone threw up Cracker Barrel's antique rejects. There are antiques on the wall and dusty things hanging everywhere. Most good Italian restaurants have classical music or Sinatra playing. This place had country music. The atmosphere said "We couldn't make it as a mom and pop country restaurant so we decided to be an Italian place. We hung up a flag of Italy and changed our menu to over-priced pasta!"

Our waitress was cheerful and pleasant (thus, the ONE star), BUT.. the brown-haired waitress for the other table gave us dirty looks from the moment we walked in. I was in a knee-length dress. My husband was in shorts and a button up shirt. We didn't look like vagrants. Thankfully, she was taking care of the ONE other table in this empty joint.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular. Subway has tastier meatball subs. It was $30 for lunch for a meatball sub and shrimp scampi. Skip this place and go to Olive Garden where you truly WILL be treated like family.

Last, but definitely NOT least, the OWNER. He spoke to the one other table bragging about attending the recent Confederate Flag Rally (racist much?) in Middleburg. Then he said "Don't tell Obama I wave a confederate flag!" and talked about death threats against the President. DISGUSTING. I was sick that I had to give these people my money. Don't make the same mistake that I did. SKIP THIS RACIST HOLE-IN-THE-WALL.

Your wallet, your stomach, and your conscience...

We sat down to order and the waitress came out with a single breadstick per person that was smothered in oil with light parmesean cheese. It tasted terrible but we were hungry and ate it. Next she took our order and came out with our side salads that came with our meals. I ordered Italian dressing for mine and they gave me straight red wine vinegar that was so acidic it burned my lips and mouth. I couldn't even eat my salad. We then got a phone call and had a family emergency and had to leave quickly. I went to the bar area to tell them we had to leave and I would be paying for the breadsticks, salads, and drinks. They were dragging their feet looking for our waitress and taking there time when we had to leave quickly. I didn't want to leave without paying obviously. Then she said our dinners were ready and that they packed them up and I'd have to pay for them. In a way I understand but at the same time this was an emergency and we had no time to eat it after leaving the restaurant. When we finally did have a chance to eat the food it was so disgusting that we took one bite and had to throw it away. It wasn't even edible. We were forced to pay $35 for food that was so disgusting and honestly with how slow they were taking to ring me up so we can leave we should have just left. I'm so disappointed with them and will never eat here again and I made sure I let everyone I know know how bad it was. Don't waste your money, they use cheap ingredients and everything is so bland. Really would...
