Most horrible experience ever and never going again. I have been going to this Mc Donalds for over a year never had an issue untill today and it was the most awful experience in the world, they made me feel like I was such a liar and trying to be sneaky and would not give me the time of day. I went through drive through like usual placed my order, got to the 2nd window received my drinks and was told to wait and reserve spot #1. So I did after about 12 mins 7:02 I called the number on the receipt multiple times as shown in screen shot of my history. To let them know I was still waiting and haven't received my meals yet. I called because I had my dog with me and I did not want to leave her in the car not take her inside the restaurant which I'm pretty sure isn't allowed anyways. So I called, and called and called at 7:16 I finally stopped and pulled out of the reserve spot #1 went back into drive through, they were still alittle busy so it took some time getting to the 2nd window again. Although I told them in the first window and on the speaker thing what was going on. I get to the 2nd window and tell them again what was going on. The manager and the girls that were at the window told me that they had given me my food already. I told them no that's impossible I haven't received anything. They went back and fourth and kept telling me they did then preceded to tell me they only had half the food for me and had given me the other half. I kept asking if they remembered giving it to me because I have a dog with me. No one could answer that. The manager was so extremely rude and mean and kept going back and fourth with me. One of the girls even said what color car I was in, making me feel like they think I changed cars or something. I told them I have been in the same car I didn't go no where. The manger kept telling me I should of came inside, I should of came inside. I kept telling him I couldn't come inside cause I have a dog with me that's why I kept calling. He looked at his watch and said why did I wait so long i should of came inside. I told him I had to make the drive through again. I did keep calling to try to get through but no one answered. He said I need to pull up then so they can redo the whole order. I said no I want to wait here I don't want to be forgotten again. He refused and said he will refund the order them if I don't wanna move cause in his words "I have to get to next car, I have to get to the next car." I kept telling them I always come here I never had an issue before untill today, i don't understand what's wrong. I am 13 weeks pregnant, I was/am so stressed about this just because they made me feel so stupid and like I was a liar. I immediately called corporate as soon as I left. I was in tears I was so upset at the situation am waiting for the follow up call back. I encourage them to look at any surveillance cameras or anything it will 100 percent show no one came up to my car also encourage them to check phone records at the amount of times I tried calling. I can't not believe how rude and mean the manager was especially not caring at all about the situation. I will never ever go back to this...
Read moreTitle: Improving Customer Experience at McDonald's: A Constructive Critique
Introduction: McDonald's, a global icon of fast food, has become synonymous with convenience and efficiency. However, as a frequent patron of this establishment, I believe there are areas where the customer service experience can be enhanced. In particular, I would like to address concerns regarding the management approach, specifically within the context of interactions with the Cuban manager at my local McDonald's branch.
Customer Service Experience: One of the fundamental pillars of any successful business is exemplary customer service. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at McDonald's have left much to be desired. On several occasions, I have encountered instances of slow service, incorrect orders, and a lack of attentiveness from staff members. These issues not only disrupt the flow of operations but also detract from the overall dining experience.
Role of Management: As a key figure in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, the role of the manager cannot be overstated. However, the Cuban manager at my local McDonald's branch has consistently failed to meet these expectations. Despite being in a position of authority, there appears to be a disconnect between their leadership style and the needs of both customers and staff.
Communication and Professionalism: Effective communication is essential in any managerial role. Regrettably, interactions with the Cuban manager have often been marred by a lack of professionalism and empathy. Instances of dismissive behavior and a failure to address customer concerns have been observed, further exacerbating frustrations among patrons.
Suggestions for Improvement: In the spirit of constructive criticism, I offer the following suggestions to enhance the customer service experience at McDonald's:
Training and Development: Implement comprehensive training programs for staff members to enhance their skills in customer service and order accuracy. Managerial Oversight: Foster a culture of accountability among management personnel, ensuring they actively engage with both customers and staff to address concerns and maintain standards. Diversity and Inclusion: Embrace diversity within the workforce, promoting an environment where all employees feel valued and respected regardless of their background. Feedback Mechanisms: Establish accessible channels for customers to provide feedback, enabling continuous improvement based on their experiences.
Conclusion: McDonald's has the potential to deliver exceptional customer service that aligns with its reputation as a leader in the fast-food industry. By addressing issues related to management approach and fostering a culture of excellence, the company can reaffirm its commitment to customer satisfaction and set a benchmark for service quality in...
Read moreI went to this McDonald’s after I ordered on the mobile app for the monopoly items. I order these items from SEVERAL OTHER MCDONALDS but this specific McDonald’s NEVER does it right. I finally go in and complain, the manager was the one who began berating me and screaming that I didn’t know what I was talking about because they gave me two medium drinks when I ordered two large drinks (one frappe and one smoothie). Any other McDonald’s I go to give me the actual LARGE CUP with the L marked on the cup. This McDonald’s is the only one who only ever gives it to me in a medium cup. Not only that, but I ordered these drinks that the app said had monopoly items. They didn’t give me the monopoly cups and not even my wuarter Pounder that I ordered had a monopoly sticker which AGAIN THE APP SAYS ARE MONOPOLY ITEMS!!! The manager is extremely unprofessional, rude, and does not deserve her job. It amazes me that someone who gets paid to be a manager at a McDonald’s thinks customer service doesn’t matter. She had to get two other employees, both of which were extremely patronizing, to come talk to me instead to “explain to me what the cup sizes are.” Which again, every other McDonald’s gives me the cup that is LARGE -‘d says L on the cup for frappes, smoothies, any coffee orders etc. Rhis McDonald’s never gets anything right and I hope everyone sees this and does NOT COME HERE! I’ve already filed a formal complaint to McDonald’s and will follow up every single day until I speak with the general manager because the manager of this location doesn’t...
