Metro Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

A co-worker ordered a sandwich from here the other day and it was really good! I forgot my breakfast this morning so I was excited to find out that this place delivered. I ordered at 9:15 am. I called about 30 minutes later to see where the delivery guy was and they assured me he would be right there. 10-15 minutes pass again.... still no food. Another co-worker ordered from this place this morning and it only took them about 10 minutes for her to place and them deliver her order. Our job is only down the street. My excitement about this place has ran out as I never received my order and had to cancel due to it taking an hour for one sandwich, on top of being rudely hung up on the phone. I didn't expect this type of customer service from a locally owned business. Very disappointed.

edit: I don't know why I cannot respond to the owner's response, however when I cancelled my order she said "I assure you, he will be right there". The delivery person was not in the office at that time, or else I would have just got it. I cancelled because I no longer wanted to wait as it was already upon one hour for one sandwich and I have every right to do so. TODAY AFTER I ORDERED MY LUNCH FROM METRO DELI & CAFÉ. I POSTED MY PERSONAL REVIEW IN GOOGLE, ABOUT MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOOD IN THIS PLACE. APPARENTLY THE OWNER OR MANAGER, MADE A PHONE CALL TO MY WORK, ASKING TO SPEAK TO MY SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER. SHE WAS TRANSFERRED AND WITH TREMENDOUS RUDENESS AND RACIST COMMENTS ABOUT ME, SHE STARTED THREATENING THAT BECAUSE OF MY REVIEW SHE WOULD STOP DELIVERING AT MY WORK PLACE!!!...IF YOUR BUSSINESS DOES NOT ACCEPT BAD REVIEWS FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS, !!! YOU SHOULD INACTIVATE THE REVIEWS IN GOOGLE. MY REVIEW WAS POSTED IN GOOGLE FOR ABOUT SEVEN MINUTES. AND I DELETED IT. “THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I ORDERED FOOD IN THAT PLACE, AND IT IS ALLWAYS A DISAPPOINTMENT. THE FIRST TIME, THE SALAD WAS 90% LETTUCE, THE 2ND. Called in a delivery order. Wasn't impressed by how rushed I was for my order first of all. I let that go because I"m sure she was slammed. I ordered the butternut squash and apple soup. It was okay. Tasted a lot like Broccoli cheddar. I added some cinnamon to it and it was good. The other two orders were supposed to be hot cajun spiced chicken salads. When I placed the order I was told the chicken would be blackened. What arrived were grilled chicken tenders smothered with cheese. NOT blackened. They were cold too, like fresh out of the refrigerator cold. The salads weren't anything spectular. A bunch of chopped up iceberg lettuce, half a hard boiled egg, cucumbers, jalapeno's and the chicken. The menu says the salads come with homemade croutons. These salads did not include the croutons. A girl needs her croutons! HAHAHA. Anywho, the delivery driver was friendly, appreciative, and professional. We will order again as the food was not terrible by any means. Just please don't rush people...
