Millers Jamaican cuisine — Restaurant in Florida

Called to order food because we were told it was a a good place to try food serving was great , I called ordered 2 small oxtails , 1 large jerk chicken & plantains additional to order . Lady was rude not talking with me taking other people orders while I’m on the phone . She asked me what I wanted again I repeated again hoping she got it corrected. She repeated my order and I said yes . She ok before I can say thank you she hung up …….. I was confused because she didn’t ask my name for order or tell me how much ….. I asked my husband to wait 10 min and drive over ( should take (15-25) for pick up . My husband got there 25 min …… she didn’t have the order ready and take I asked for 1 jerk & 1 oxtail plate ? My husband called me to let me know what the lady said & I told her no that’s incorrect. 2 small oxtail & 1 jerk and plantains on side ……. We got nothing we wanted & charged for large oxtails …….. service horrible. I rather go to bravos or drive to island tyme grill who is worth every dime food and service . I don't find any joy in writing this review because I actually enjoy the food here,but the front counter person always seems to be "Enthusiastically Challenged" as if she doesn't want to be there, which makes me feel a little uncomfortable inquiring about dishes or to make request for my order . The young lady is the owner's daughter,so I would think that she would be more vibrant with patrons since it is a family owned and operated business. I've had many dealings with both the mom and the dad,whom I absolutely find to be extremely nice people. My biggest gripe of any business is poor customer service! This is not a monopoly and people can spend their money anywhere they choose to. I will not spend another cent there until I've spoken with one of the owners about my past displeasures dealing with the daughter. When in business, just know, the relationships one establishes with customers most often contribute to that company's successful sustainability. Miller's was my go to place when I wanted to eat some really good Jamaican food. The beef patties are the best. The crust is flaky and buttery and the beef filling is just right, not too thin or too thick. Their oxtails are amazing. I rave about this place to everyone I know.

unfortunately, I will have to discontinue spending my money here.around January or February renovations and upgrades were done. New workers that I have not met before was now taking orders. The lady with the braids is rude and non welcoming,never smiled and does not thank you after your purchase. She is bad for business she does not need to be in the front.
