Mojo's Tacos-Mainland — Restaurant in Florida

First time here is what we told hostess,she was very friendly talked about menu,ordered a skirt taco,chicken taco,mai taco,an salad,two teas, asked about straws no straws but had these cute sippy cups so that was cool,sat zn waited on our food, well mai taco was my husband's he said it was good, his salad on other hand was greasy said he could taste the grease in his mouth hour later, I order skirt taco an chicken taco ,the chicken in my taco was so cold an not from sitting iam talking about out of fridge cold, did not take one bite of it, the skirt was so over cooked an tuff ate a couple bits of it, I never said one word but my husband on the other hand got his money back for salad,me no chalk it up to bad experience an dont go back, an thats what I did. Sorry but if I am gonna pay 31.00 dollars for a lunch it should be eatable an this was not , but on other had girl working was very friendly, just wish food had of been better we love to try small businesses some of the best food comes from them, an we were excited to try, sorry again for not so good review,just wish it could have been better, good...

I absolutely love mojos. They have tacos similar to what you’d cook at home. Also love the owners Mike and Dee. The reason for not a 5 star post is because unfortunately tonight (Jan 25,2024) we had a 1 star experience. I brought my family in to eat and we started eating and then the person taking orders (blonde hair girl) said we would be kicked out in 2 minutes (at 7:58pm) after we already started eating as they close at 8pm. We said it would be fine if she had to clean as we finished our food but she refused that and made us pack up our food and go. If she would have told us they were closing soon, we would have just taken our food Togo. If this was my first time here, I never would go back. BUT every experience here prior to this has been great so I’ll probably be back. My family said they would never come back because of this experience so that does suck. First time here so we tried a lot of different things. The burrito is dy with a lot of rice. ( there are other things in it depending on what type of burrito but this was awful so never again ) The tacos were better we did beef and chicken. The chicken is a dry shredded type. The beef was ok. So many places for tacos in the area. this place needs a new recipe. The people were friendly and its clean inside but not a place you go to for the ambiance. No table service you order at the counter. Take out is recommended but then its not as warm by the time you get home. update- after hearing back from the owners, I was impressed and am raising to 4 stars from 3.
