Morgan's Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

I tried this cafe as it is a locals diner right next to Ollie's. I always enjoy a local cafe. We were greeted by patrons enjoying a meal out front on bistro tables. We entered and seated ourselves but started to notice how dirty the place was. The floors appeared to not have been cleaned in days. Walls could use paint and the areas behind the counter need attention. Moving on to service, they were quick to attend and provided our drinks quickly. Unfortunately it took some time to receive our food. Seeing the cafe was fairly empty, I could not understand why it took a while for eggs and toast. As for the food, we did enjoy the breakfast. Scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and toast. Food was plentiful and tasty. I gave this cafe a three star since the staff was friendly, and the food was good. Unfortunately due to how dirty the place was, I would be hesitant to return as this may be indicative and how clean the kitchen may be. I really wanted to give it high stars and enjoy the cafe, but they must work on...

Ive been coming here for many years long before the new owners purchased the resturant at first it was great they treat you like family sometimes the wait for food is alittle long in the tooth but i can understand the purpose of this review is to not put down anyone but the one thing that i would suggest as a friend to the owner is they need to invest in renovtating the place or get another building its always hot everytime i come to the point my wife wont go back thier anymore the tiles on the ceiling are old and worn and when i use the bathroom my shoes stick sorta and they are also dirty on the floors espcially in the area by the back by the area vents is nasty looking to not to mention when you go to this resturant and want to support them its just to damn hot in the place i want to see this place suceed because they are good people but the restaurant desperately needs a complety tear down and restoration and i mean with all...

This use to be a favorite place to bring friends and family for some good food at great prices. Lately however the service and food has gone down hill and fast. I had heard that their was new ownership and tried to give them a chance a few times but each time was worse then before. Their waitress while nice at times seems to be in over her head. Missing food that was ordered and asking for refills and not getting them. Food timing use to be fantastic and now it takes a considerable amount longer. Sometimes the quality was still to the same standards as before but most of the time it wasn’t. The new owners seem nice but to be honest I think their in over their heads. I’m not sure if they have prior restaurant experience before. I wish them the best but this is not the same Morgan’s Cafe that I’ve come to love. I may try again in the future when hopefully they’ve worked out the kinks but for right now I’m...
