So here's a place that's a little bit out of my range as far as delivery purposes go but I had a good enough meal here in a good enough time with my mother that it was worth me giving them a rating and I rated in the five stars for a number of reasons. So yes indeed my mother does live in the palatka area and I happen to be driving through palatka one afternoon on a delivery for another company I work for that being Roadie you may have heard of them we deliver a lot of home Depot items and luggage from the airport lost luggage and etc no food though only items. So anyway on the way I might call my mom up who happened to be heading back to her home anyway and we met at Musselwhites. I can remember that evening I was torn between wanting barbecue and wanting seafood shrimp in particular after being out on the road all day long and ultimately I decided on the shrimp well ultimately I decided on seafood in general but muscle white has a reputation for some pretty good fried shrimp and so I decided to test it. Has it turns out mother was feeling the same way and so we both had shrimp fried shrimp and I have to say that the fried shrimp was pretty good. Redding was decent wasn't over or undercooked. The grease was not old and of bad taste. Sides we had let me see I have french fries and applesauce I believe and I don't recall what my mother had but something off of the side menu and see there were no complaints from her end and I had no complaints either. The french fries were not soggy or nasty tasting either which makes me happy. There's always a good sign when the grease is changed regularly when frying foods and it definitely was changed regularly here you definitely can taste that in the food or not taste it as it were. Overall I had a good time spending a couple hours with my mother the ambiance inside of muscle White's typical for a Florida seafood restaurant and it was a good overall experience prices were pretty much in there not too expensive and the service was decent as well you didn't go without anything to drink at any point nor will we bombarded with sales pitches or needless botherings. And when we were done we were done and it was time to go and we paid and we left and overall it was a very good experience. I would say that if you're thinking about visiting muscle lights you can't go wrong if you're looking for seafood Florida I would I would rate it on the upper scale of seafood restaurants in general meaning not crazily expensive and overall good atmosphere and overall good service and I feel confident in saying that you will have a good experience there as well so if you're in palatka can you see my mom tell her hi but when you see what muscle wipes stop and get you something to eat can't...

Not fair to compare to Corky Bells but one is overflowing and one has plenty of parking. Thought we'd give it a chance. Our mistake. No atmosphere. My husband couldn't hear me sitting on the opposite side of the table, so I moved to the side. Very limited menu, few appetizers. I ventured on the French onion soup that was inedible because of the sodium. Waitress took it off the menu, rightfully so. The chef needs to taste this before serving. Husband got the NE clam chowder, lukewarm, watery, no potatoes, too few clams. Another disappointment. My beer should have been offered with a glass. Not cold at best. We pondered cancelling our order and calling it a night. No bread, saltines offered. My 12 fried shrimp did arrive hot, appetizing with french fries and a decent coleslaw. Husband's stuffed shrimp, only 6, were decent. I had to give him 3 of my shrimp to satisfy his hunger. Waitress......we had no complaints. Heard a group of four men state, "Not bad, but I won't be back ". I hear ya brother. For $60 with tip, we won't be either. One other complaint.... have the servers wear coordinating uniforms. Each was dressed in their own jeans and undistinguished t shirts. Buy them tshirts. Uniformity makes a difference. Sorry. We work hard for our money, and this evening, we were seriously...

We ended up visiting this restaurant due to a severe thunderstorm. We waited 15 mins to be seated, which wasn't a big deal for a Saturday night. We ordered the shrimp special and a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. The clam chowder came out first and was not only watered down but also luke warm (okay, not a huge deal). Next came the main meal. We each ordered different sides. The meal was terrible! The hush puppies had zero flavor and were cold, the breaded shrimp was chewy and the breading was flavorless as well. The fried zucchini I ordered as a side was cold and overcooked. The only thing I enjoyed about my meal was the sweet potato fries. Now our waitress was really nice and kept checking on us but it was noticeable how chaotic it was in that restaurant. A lot of noise is expected for a Saturday night at a busy restaurant but it almost seemed the wait staff didn't know who had what table (our waitress excluded). Long story short I won't eat here again but maybe I'm judging too harshly. I'll leave...

I recently dined at Musslewhite's Seafood Restaurant in Palatka, and it was an exceptional experience. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The staff was attentive and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. If you're a seafood lover looking for a memorable dining experience, Musslewhite's Seafood Restaurant is a must-visit.

Well... The shrimp was overcooked 🤨 the fries and baked potato were good and I'm not a big fan of hush puppies so no need to tell you about those. If I ever try them again I'll go for the steak! I always like to give places a second chance😎 service was good and prices were good too! Very oldschool look which is very comfortable to me☺ I'm very critical of seafood because if I'm eating it, it has to be perfect.. very rarely do I order seafood lol even at a seafood restaurant..

This was our second time eating here. We were not impressed the first time but figured we'd give them another try. Needless to say we should not have. The food is tasteless and the dipping sauce is disgusting. I ordered mahi mahi at market price and got fish nuggets. They were tough and dry. Wife ordered coconut shrimp which came butterflied with some thin watery sauce. The hush puppies are just tasteless hunks of dough. Over $70.00 for inedible food is unacceptable.
