Ocean Bar — Restaurant in Florida

The big selling point here is convenience. The restaurant is located at the Hammock Beach Resort and serves food and drinks to everyone sitting at the pool. You can walk up from the beach and pay with credit if you want.

The food selection is average. You can find your typical fried food but you can also find a few healthy items. We ordered the vegetable plate, the hummus and the chicken salad sandwich. The vegetable plate was 10 dollars and was served in a to go plastic container with some ranch dressing. The first round came out with half tomatoes. Since our kids don't like those we requested more broccoli and carrots instead which they gladly did. The hummus was the same Sabra hummus you can find at publix that you pack in your kids lunch. It was 5:50. The Chicken salad sandwich was ok. I could taste the grapes and celery but it was nothing special.

They have a rule here that you cannot bring your own food and drink so you can't bring your own snack. I don't believe in these types of rules so we brought our own food and drink anyway.

Always outstanding - great place to spend a weekend. Bar staff is incredible, Ralph, Devin, Jonathan and everyone else.

It gets busy at times, but not too bad of a wait, usually only a minute or two for a drink even when it’s slammed.

They have food available as well and it’s good too. The kitchen can get busy at peak times, but still served hot and pretty quick for a place this busy.

I wouldn't feed their food to my dog. Tater tot nachos appetizer took over an hour had to ask 3 people to check on it. Came out all soggy and nasty place should be ashamed to sell food for this price that comes straight out of the freezer.
