First, let's start with the good. Parking is shared with Captains BBQ, and that's a Big plus. Seriously, do yourself a favor and just eat lunch there, and then take a drive to Graham Swamp for a far superior trail.
The Blue Trail- very flat, with minimal elevation change and just a few spots where a true beginner might need to walk the bike around an obstacle. It's a good trail to take the kids, rolls through some pretty saw palm, and it's well shaded. Calling it intermediate is a stretch, but it does offer a place to ride for newer folks or those want a relaxing ride.
Black Diamond areas- a bit more interesting, and some are pretty fun. These range from bridge crossings, log hopping, log stacks, and some entertaining rock gardens, easily the best part of the trail system. Too often you have to hop back on the dreaded Blue trail to find more single black.
Double Black Diamond- This area can be quite cool, but it often lacks any serious flow. The large rocks, short drops, sprint climbs, and roots are challenging, and if the trail had some semblance of flow I would rate it much higher.
Considering the previous reviews I expected more, but I should have listened closer to the words of my local bike shop, "take a pass, but the BBQ...

The parking lot is next to the beach and you need to bike a bit to the front to start, giving you a good warm up. Single lane trail, well maintained. Even after the rain it wasn’t muddy at all. Moderate level trail with some great man made and natural technical skill challenges. All skill challenges have bike around paths so you can avoid. Great curves and build up banking switch backs provide a thrilling ride. The length was 5.5 miles and a good workout. We didn’t have helmets but highly recommend. It was hot and I wished I had gloves. The trail was flat for the most part. So if you can handle a bit of rough terrain this is a great trail. There several trails that you can take called the Hammock ‘something’ and Cloud Nine. These were more technical trails we by-past that sounded above our level. Overall a fantastic time!!...
Read moreOh God, the reviews here are way off. These trails are overrated. Not worth the 214 miles round trip for me.
If you live 20 miles from it then you can hit this park. It consist in lots of flats XC trails with some short technical trails. I went around 4 times to just clock 20 miles on it. It wasn't marked well. Takes time to figure it out. On my second lap I was able to speed up. The scenery is nice. I parked on the beach. Then I notice the BBQ place is a public park. I liked the idea that I didn't know this and was able to look...
