Packy's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Florida

Rating for this place is challenging because we thoroughly enjoyed our wings but our dinks and service left a little to be desired. We walked into Packy's on a Thursday afternoon before a concert. We were greeted right away by the bar tender and she seemed nice. We placed an order for two alcoholic drinks and reviewed the menu. When we received our drinks (Jack & Coke and Vodka Cranberry) the jack & coke was made just right but the vodka and cranberry tasted like straight vodka, just disgusting and way too strong there was no color to the cranberry-heads up to the owner that your bartender is pouring drinks with a heavy hand. We decided to order a couple of appetizers onion rings & fried pickles. The onion rings were excellent (We don't have super high standards for fried foods as we generally can tell when it's made fresh or frozen) and the pickles left a little to be desired but we ate them. We also ordered 16 wings with their 'Three Amigo's' sauce which were absolutely delicious. Our bar tender was less attentive than we would have liked as we noticed her chatting with another couple at the end of the bar while our waters sat empty for majority of our time. My second jack & coke was way stronger than the first and hard to put down. Overall our experience was underwhelming as far as service but we would totally order the three amigos...

My go-to spot on Thursday's. They have karaoke from 9-1:30 and $2 draft specials all night. They also do Trivia and various other themed nights. Check out their website's calendar for more details. I've met some of my best friends at Packy's. The crowd there is very inviting.

They also have pretty good food there. I highly recommend their Buffalo Shrimp (ask for hot). They are hands down, the. best. buffalo. shrimp. In South Florida. I've tried so many places' Buffalo Shrimp and this place makes it better than anyone else. They're not "known for their shrimp". I just happened to order it one day and now I order it every Thursday, as I have for the last 3 years.

This place is a Jet's bar on game day. If you're into the NFL and like the Jet's you'll feel like everyone's a family member. (I don't personally go for the games, nor am I a Jet's fan).

Packy's is a "Sports Grill" and they do encourage families to come in. It's not just a bar for the rowdy night life. Bring the kids and have dinner. They make great food.

Im 37 years old and have lived in Boca for many years. I am familiar with many of the bars here in Boca and have have never felt racially profiled before, untill today. I think if your going to have a policy to run a tab at the bar it should apply to every patron. This evening i sat at the bar ordered a beer and waited for my buddy to arrive. The bartender looked at me and asked me for a card to hold a tab. I was a little suprised when every other patron asked for a tab and wasnt asked to leave a credit card. I even went out of my way to see if the bartender knew these people and i noticed her asking names confirming the bartender didnt actually know them. She was just choosing whom she asked a card from. Me being the only hispanic at the bar, led me to beleive that this was no coincidence. I have never used the race card in my life but i do honestly feel this had to do with exactly that. I hope that no body else has the same experience. Stay away if u do not want to be racially profiled. This is not the place for you.
