10/12/22 UPDATE Sometimes people have really bad nights, and sometimes people have really amazing nights.
Tonight and almost every night, the flavor of Palaceis always having an amazing night. Whoever made my stromboli tonight, may God bless you infinitely. It was so fire, you deserve a raise bro/sir thank you. it was incredible. I think it's my new favorite thanks to you.
The sweet woman who answered the phone was tiny bit timid but as very sweet, patient with me over my stromboli questions, was very knowledgeable and really helped me order it correctly.
Once again, amazing job. Delivery came in about 27 minutes. Quoted 25. stellar.
Food was excellent decently large order. Food was done fast. Everything was perfectly cooked and correct.
Incredibly nice and helpful staff. Food was great, if you're in the mood for ANYTHING on the menu you wont be disappointed, plus they ate incredible nice and sweet. Support local, support them!
Food time. Eggplant Parmesan - my father got this and is raving about it. Correctly cooked eggplant doesnt happen often at other places but they nailed it.
Meatball Hoagie - also for dad not sure if hell have room, but I'll be real it looked tantalizing made my mouth water. Plenty of meatballs, lots of sauce, topped with a healthy amount of parm.
Chicken Bacon Stromboli - mine, it was the pick 3 build your own. I didnt catch his name but when I said mozz chx n bacon he let me know mozz is included and doubled me down on chicken. Very filling overflowing with stuffings. Fresh and delectable. Perfect crust nice crisp on the outside perfectly fluffy and tender inside.
Chicken parmesan with spaghetti noodles - for my sister;pasta still perfectly al dente, very generous portion, fried chicken was crisp outside, tender and juicy. Seasoned very well.
Manicotti - for mom, shes still eating it but raving over it.
Garden Salad - had some unusual veggies which was great! Sliced carrot, black olives, cauliflower, mozzerella, and mixed greens. A welcome and very fresh change from a typical salad. We got ranch, for me personally I would have liked a little less buttermilk and s little more mayo in their mix but nonetheless we all loved it.
Garlic Knots - didnt know wed have some included but they were buttery, garlicky, all of them were hot and tender. There was a single one of 8 that was a little stale.
Breadsticks - lightly buttered, generously covered in parm and herbs. Fluffy and tender. Mom and dad loved them, texture was great. A little plain for my liking .
Only criticism I can give (and I say it as such because none of this is a negative)
Personally I would like the sauce to be a bit more robust and more salt. Personally I would like the ranch a little thicker. Personally I would like garlic on the breadsticks as well but I guess that would defeat the purpose of garlic knots.
Times are tough and I could only tip 5 and change on my pickup order but I wish I could have left them $20. Amazing job gentlemen, seriously you guys killed it, thank you for an amazing dinner.
P.s. I forgot to add they were so over the top friendly, they offered to help carry out the order cause it was alot for 1 person to carry and they took care of everyone so fast.
I was quoted 30 minutes, I live 15 away. Went straight down there and very soon after I there it was done.
I see some negative reviews and illl say this, not everyone is perfect, I'm sure they are short on staff like everyone in the industry is right now. If you see a negative review it's basically a Karen having either an unreasonable expectation or nit picking to try and get discounts or free stuff. I'm also confident that if you speak to them respectfully no matter what your issue is they would make it right. Seriously support them, it's rare finding positive and good attitudes in ANY establishment right now get their crew is...
Read moreOrdered one lunch special/2slices w/drink for two of us to share. When asked for a water cup, I placed 1/2 inch of soda in the water cup since I do not drink soda, just to wet my lips. Water is not good there. The manager came to our table and gave me a bill of $2.34 for taking less than an inch of soda and called me a THIEF. (HOW DARE HIM) There is no sign anywhere that states we cannot share the drink. We always shared as i do not really drink when i eat. Just one sip and i am good. In the past i always told them i am taking a sip from the fountain and the owner told me it was no problem. The manager after calling me a thief came to our table with two boxes so that we can leave with our slices. He was very RUDE and cursed the "F" word behind the counter. Mind you, we have been coming there religiously every week for lunch. The drink is refillable as many times as you wish. Do not know why he got twisted when three drops were put in my cup. (one small sip) This new manager and the new hired woman both need to get skills on friendliness. They deal with customers all day and she never has a smile on her face. By the way, it was lunch time and the restaurant was completely empty. Never empty before these two were put in charge. No one came in to eat the whole time we were there, as we did not leave until we were finish with our food. For the owner, you must know who I am as we come all the time and each time i get a water cup. Not all the time I get soda. I usually fill the cup with water. But when the water taste bad, i pour a very minimal amount of soda in the cup when we order the lunch special/w drink. I really wish you had seen how this manager behaved with us today. It was unacceptable over a drop of fountain soda which we had purchased but shared. SMH! AND NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE ALWAYS LEAVE A TIP IN THEIR JAR AND THE WORKERS IN THE BACK ALL LOOK SO MISERABLE. They used to look happy before this manager came...
Read moreI did a takeout order and it was delivered by a third party. It was for dinner. On the website they show three slices of bruschetta. So I ordered the bruschetta thinking that there would be three slices. When I received my order I only had one slice of bruschetta. The one slice of bruschetta cost me 2.59. I can buy a loaf of bread at my local grocery store for approximately $3.20. I paid $2.59 for one slice of bread with cubed tomato on top and one small cube of feta cheese. I ordered the cannoli thinking that I would receive two cannolis however I only received one. The one cannoli cost me $4.99. I can buy two cannolis at the local grocery store for 4.19. I ordered the meatballs. I received five meatballs which were the size of swedish meatballs for $8.52. I ordered chicken wings which were dry and tough. The blue cheese that they provided helped get those down. In summary, I was disappointed with the product and the amount of product compared to what I paid for the product. I've eaten at Palace Pizza before and had things delivered from there before in the past. In the past, the portion amounts equaled what I paid for. This experience was the...
