Peach's Restaurant - Venice — Restaurant in Florida

If I could rate zero stars, I 100% would. sad when I’ve been coming to peaches for 20 years, and all it takes is 1 very shady experience to make me take my business elsewhere and urge others to the same. I made an online order on 5/21, per their hours on Google saying they were indeed OPEN and NOT CLOSED, and the fact that I was allowed to make an online order, I thought all was well. All was not well as come to my surprise the Venice Peaches was closed for a remodel with a handwritten sign on the door and customers showing up left and right confused due to the fact that per their Facebook they were encouraging people to come in TUESDAY (the 21st) - THURSDAY. You say you refunded money for those who ordered online… that’s a blatant lie as the only reason I received any kind of refund is due to the fact I reported the charge and explained the situation to my credit company and THEY REFUNDED ME THE MONEY WITH A PROVISIONAL ADJUSTMENT. Meaning, absolutely no refund from this business was given to me, my credit company gave me the refund as the transaction moved past pending and was actually taken. Absolutely crazy to me a company publicly lying, not taking necessary steps to prevent things like this entire situation from happening like NOT POSTING FOR PEOPLE TO ORDER ONLINE AND STOP IN WHEN YOU’RE CLOSED FOR A RENOVATION AND MAKING SURE TO SHUT OFF YOUR ONLINE ORDERING, DOORDASH, UBER EATS, FAR IN ADVANCE OF SAID CLOSURE. Incredibly shady. Keep the money you fraudulently took from me, my credit company at least has me covered with quick and problem solving service. Edit: As it seems Peach’s shortcomings are becoming a bit of a pattern, hopefully things will improve for the other customers that choose to dine at this location instead of attempting to falsely come for someone’s character. I’m not going to be quiet and not make a review when it comes to my money, and I know others would feel the same. Funny, after me posting this review 17 hours ago, a refund was just sent to my credit company an hour ago. It’s sad that it takes all of this effort just to get someone to be truthful and give a customer their refund, would’ve been even nicer without the out of line digging at a customer for just wanting their money back for food they didn’t receive due to the restaurants mess...

Can't review the food because I was never seated... Never even acknowledged !? I see other reviews describing service as "efficient" and "attentive"... Not for me ? Maybe it was an off day, but all I wanted to do was confirm with staff that it was OK for me to go in and sit at the counter. A few people were waiting for tables and I didn't want to just pass them and stroll to the counter until I cleared it with staff. Three different employees walked past me at the hostess stand repeatedly without even making eye contact, never mind greeting me. I waited a few minutes, thought about just seating myself, but got turned off to the place when a waitress rolled her eyes at another person waiting who had the nerve to ask about her table. I felt like we were bothering the staff by daring to come to the restaurant to spend money. I could have waited longer but was just turned off by the initial disregard for customers. Too many places nearby to put up with attitude... Look, this is a simple, inexpensive breakfast joint. Not looking for "white glove" service. Just look at me and say "Be with ya in a minute". Doubt...

We’ve been coming to Peaches for years. We would get up early Saturday and walk from Plantation. Looked forward to coffee!! Seeing friendly faces and just being in the moment and ENJOYING everything about it. It was a no brainier……great staff, great food and great prices! Today everything changed, 😪 because of one thing….. PRICING! 30% higher across the whole menu. NOT GOOD! I understand some items going up. Example… My husband and I ordered two bowls of oatmeal, we don’t get any of the “set ups“ we ordered 2 cups of coffee, strawberries, blueberries, which came out to be two strawberries cut up in mine two strawberries cut up in his six blueberries in mine six blueberries in his, a side of hashbrowns that totaled less than one potato for both of us. Total… Four strawberries, 12 blueberries, a half of a potato and 2 cups of coffee $18!!!!!! That’s not including 2 bowls of oatmeal!!! $30!!!!!!!!!! BEFORE TIP!!!! We’ve been priced out of eating there! No meat, no dairy, no eggs!!!!! OATMEAL/POTATO people!!!!!!! Not going to pay it. We would Not be good stewards of our money. We didn’t leave Peaches,...
