Riverside Dining Facility, Patrick SFB — Restaurant in Florida

My father and I have had a chance to try all three meals, and enjoyed each of them. The staff behind the counter was friendly , funny and helpful in every way. It is great to get what you ordered and in a timely manner. Cashiers we're helpful in learning how things work and made you feel at ease being new to the facility. The dining room was clean and organized and the dining room staff was on the ball.(The One Exception Was A Lady Who Stopped And Pushed A Chair Without Looking.My Father's Service Dog was Under The Table And All She Said "You do want t earn your 72 points". SheThen Explained That Know One Pushes In Thier Chairs. When We Got Up To Leave, My Dad Headed For The Door With His Service Dog. I Went To Throughout Our Trash That And Refill My Drink. Before I Could Go Back And Get My Keys And Push In My Chair She Stopped Me And Said " I Guess You Don't Want Your 72 Points" . I don't understand what the 72 points are all about but I do recognize rude when I am face to face with it. Your bathrooms we're very clean as well your entry way. Looking forward to eating there in the morning just hoping not run into Miss 72...

Best Place to eat on base – A hidden gem on the water! This facility is located at the north end of the base and is right on the water (river). There is plenty of parking in front or you can walk from many of the places on base. It is cafeteria style food pickup in the area to the right of the entrance. They have salads, pizza’s and hot meals. You pick up your food and then pay at the cashier. There are 3 different areas to eat: 2 inside and the back patio. The inside has lots of seating inside and a very nice (non air-conditioned) back patio where you can look out on the river. I have seen dolphins on several occasions while sitting here. As a retired Army Officer Ive seen many better managed dining facilities. The food was lackluster, employees appeared less than interested in their positions. The service was slow, coffee machine broken, juice machine mostly empty. No pancakes, no gravy for biscuits, no honey, potatoes under cooked and no milk machines. The only thing going for this place is waterside location. Arrived for breakfast at 0820 so not a few minutes before closing. Burger King on post might be a better option at least you know what your getting and you wont wait 15 mins in line to get scrambled eggs.
