How would you feel if you ordered a pizza and were told to pickup the pizza up in one hour. You arrive at Rosatio’s and they gladly have you pay for your pie. Then the employee goes back in the kitchen and comes back out and says it will be another 20 minutes. Then after 20 minutes expire and you inquire again about your pie and the employee goes back into the kitchen and comes back out and says it would be another 20 minutes. Informing you, the customer, that the pizza will be made on the assembly table in a few minutes. After the 40 minutes of waiting at Rosatio’s, an hour and forty since you ordered said pie, has gone by the employee goes through the kitchen routine again. This time they can’t find where your pie is but it should be just a few minutes it must be in the oven. It is interesting to observe human nature and the various customers and their reactions. Some stay inside and stand, other come in, leave, and come back. Customer questions arise “How much longer?” “How can you run a business like this?” “I want my money back!” The longer you observe the more you are assured that you are not going to see your pizza in 20 minutes. That is just a lie and delay tactic with no explanation on what has caused this scenario. On 2/5/21 Andrew and Lauren are manning the order desk with no real explanation why fifteen people are standing around waiting for their pizza pie for on average of two hours after they ordered and being told that “it will only be another 20 minutes” ,“we are a popular business” and “we can give your money back”. The kitchen observed to be well staffed. The employee taking the pizzas out of the oven always had open cardboard trays and was pounding his wooden paddle to an inherent distant beat. When a pizza was being chopped into pieces it was like someone saying “Bingo” maybe this will be mine. Is it my time to win the pizza lottery? I was actually surprised on how well everyone was interacting while being deceived. I came to the conclusion that if everyone of my fellow customers would have been told honestly when ordering how long it would take to get their pizza they would have been content with the service. Some, like myself, if told the pizza was going to take two hours would have declined the order. Upon arrival if the pizza would have honestly taken only another twenty minutes most would say a minor inconvenience. After the second twenty minute promise fell through that appeared to be the breaking point of patience. Especially after you saw and heard the same spiel for the frustrated human standing next to you expecting their pizza an hour ago. You would really see what customer’s patience was made of. Sorry I can’t recommend Rosatio’s for take out. The service and treatment of the customer’s time was atrocious. The pizza was decent for Southwest Florida. This wasn’t a one and done. My wife had a similar scenario on a previous visit and did not want to return. I was the one that related that her visit was an aberration and not the norm. I was gratefully surprised that only one customer coming in for take out did not have a Covid mask on. I won’t comment...
Read moreI ordered a simple medium pizza and waited an exorbitant amount of time with my four year-old daughter. The initial order was to have a little bit of water for her because she was playing on the playground and was very thirsty and the first thing they brought me was my drink, and not the water for my daughter. I waited so long that I started to complain. I used to work for a pizza place. I’ve made pizza at home and for the business. I even asked them about their oven and they said they have a 6 to 7 minute conveyor belt oven, which is standard for the industry. The owner came out in a very argumentative way and tried to explain something about drying out the tomatoes, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. Waiting over 20 minutes for one pizza with no deliveries apparent and a very small group of individuals in the actual restaurant was ridiculous. I’m never going back there again. I didn’t finish my drink and I just took my daughter and left. Apparently the owner is an idiot, that doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. And he spoke very harshly and rudely to me in front of my daughter upon leaving. He has no decorum or respect in front of young children. Plus his menu is horrible. Specializing in only pizza and spaghetti. There was nothing more expansive on his appetizers section. I was almost ready to leave after looking at the menu a few times. His staff was very nice, but the owner was not. Very...
Read moreLove the pizza here.
Have been here a handful of times and food is consistent.
Went alone today after work and had to wait with limited customers and many staff members.
When I wanted a box to take home my pizza, the wait staff threw it in a box, as I was finishing.
I asked for some paper to go between the box and food.
She brought some mesh fabric and attempted to slide the pizza on there, then left where I also attempted with no smooth transition.
The pizza came apart and when she came back, I said I'm pissed off and not taking this home since it fell apart, she got very short and said she can bring another box, no help there.
Paid my bill, leaving discussed this with the manager and he was not to helpful, just said sorry.
When people go out to eat and spend money, the expectation is to take care of the customer.
This was not the case today.
I hope corporate may allow this to be ateaching moment to discuss with their staff.
No offer of anything to come back and make things right for me.
Looks like I will be on the hunt for another local Northern pizza place.
This is unfortunate to loose a customer in these times, if they even care.
We never know who we are serving or how they may suggest or not suggest restaurants to their sphere...
