These people are CHEAP and unsanitary C H E A P the doubles/barra sticks to the paper they use to wrap it. So you spend a good amount of time peeling paper from your food. I'd understand if the doubles cooled created steam and therefore stuck to the paper. No this was literally right after I placed my order and sat down to eat.

There was a nose hair in my barra

The curry beef was okay tender but not enough curry because the dhalpoori is so dry its like eating a napkin. While eating on our broken down parchment paper we were talking about how the business is doing well but there is no pride of ownership. The napkins provided are 3 inch squares of paper. It was four of us and we were making a mess with the shredded paper we asked for a paper plate. One person suddenly had loss of hearing. Asked another individual and they graciously provided us with 2 paper plates. For 4 people.

Bathroom is so nasty you don't want to make contact with the mold on the doorknob going in or walking out. No paper towels either to create a barrier from said door knob.

We couldn't finish the curry beef as it was so dry we were going to try and salvage it at home. We had another roti we were going to take to go. I requested 2 foil to-go pans. The young man asked someone who then threw 2 lids at me. I now needed the bottoms so I asked someone else if it was okay that I grab 2 from the counter. I didn't want to assume because with COVID I don't think people would feel comfortable with a random stranger touching supplies. The girl said it was 2 dollars. Mind you...I just spent 87 dollars here. They want 2 more?

...for the bottoms... to the lids... that I had.

The kurma cookies we bought 3 packs. It seems as though you mix old cookies with new ones to resell it. It could break a tooth it's so hard. Had I known sooner I would've pelted it at the lady who battered me with the plastic lid.

This is where greed gets you. Your establishment is doing well due to the location but you literally need 1 place to give you competition and you will be left behind like dust in the wind. Here's praying that someone comes around and provides the service our countrymen are used to.

I've been supporting this business for yearssss. However, today I've encountered unpleasant service. The only woman who was behind the counter fishing out the food had the nastiest attitude from the moment I approached her... politely may I add. I greeted her with a "good morning" before telling her my order yet her tone was hostile when placing my order. The food has always been good but it would rather go to an establishment where my support to your business means something to you. Especially where their prices has increased and all (I spent $80), showing some gratitude goes a long way!

The guy was very nice with a warm greeting to everyone he served and encountered. Maybe she can ask him for a page from his book. My message to you ma'am - if you're having a bad start to your day, please don't take out your frustration(s) on paying customers. If you're having a bad day, please don't try to mess up another person's day! I hope your day gets better and you don't carry that attitude to others throughout the day.

I would recommend this place because the food is in fact delicious but I WOULDN'T want her to serve me ever again!

Update- After reaching my location, it was finally time for me to enjoy my food. I was disappointed because the curried chicken was undercooked - pink and tough inside. Maybe I went to early (around 10:30) that played a factor. But then again, what GOOD restaurant would care more about making a couple bucks more than selling undercooked food that may result in food poisoning or health issues. If the chicken wasn't ready, it shouldn't be in the showcase. Tell the costumers that food isn't ready yet instead. I was mad that I wasted my money AND time going there. I would be looking for a new roti place. It's bad that the costumer service is horrible but the undercooked food is a...

Stopped in with a group. Never been and I was looking forward to trying a different cuisine. In my opinion this place doesn’t live up to the hype. To me it’s more like fast food cuisine. I was unfamiliar with food combinations and didn’t get much help from the group members with regards to what I should order. Everyone was trying to fight the line and get up to the counter to place their own orders. The atmosphere was chaotic. The place is run down. One of the employees behind the counter who may have been an owner was rude to customers and seemed to get short with them because they didn’t place their orders quickly enough. The place seems to do a lot of business and I’m trying to understand why. The meal I got was highly overpriced. My shrimp dish was $19 alone and I got more rice than shrimp. My bill came out to $44. I ordered a few extra items such as “the doubles” to take with me based on what other customers seemed to be buying. I thought I was getting something special based on the volume of some items being sold. By the time I got my bags home they were saturated with oil. I didn’t even bother to try and reheat any of it. Just tossed it all in the trash can and put it on the curb to keep the smell out of the house. Hurt for what I paid but I wasn’t going to consume the doughy sides after seeing the oil seeping through the bags. Needless to say I’m in no hurry to go back and try the food at this...

First you must understand this is a cultural place, meaning the food is not American. It's Guyanese /Indian cuisine. Having said that I live in Jacksonville FL and I'm willing to take a drive almost every month here to pick up some great food! I attached some pictures to show some stuff I bought on my last trip. As far as seating... They changed it so that you can sit comfortably and eat. So why 4 stars? I gave them 4 stars because of the staff. This doesn't apply to all of them working there but you'll feel rushed... That's about the nicest way I could put it. Let me eloborate : When I said rushed I wasn't referring to a full line of people behind you, imagine if you were the only one on the line and you were trying to explore the menu and the items they have on display they would still rush you to just get whatever and get out. Some of them can be rude as well. So if you are going here for food.. It's good food but don't be surprised if you run into rude and not too helpful staff. Best summarized as sarcastically impatient. Enjoy!

Fast service and friendly people; thats correct friendly. I know sometimes it's a busy place but this morning it was quiet and the service was excellent. We ordered a few dishes separately to try with a single Roti to share amongst my wife and myself. Food ordered: Single Roti with smoked herring; Baigan choka; salt fish; pumpkin; stewed oxtail . Delicious and well tempered. The Baigan choka could have used a bit of garlic and a bit more pepper.. other than that we ate half of everything and finished the roti. The oxtail definitely was luxurious in tase with great depth of flavor. Smoked herring had a nice spicy kick. Pumpkin had a good sweet flavor and not watery. Salt fish dish was cooked with additional spinach which compliments the salt perfectly. Now this is not a Michelin rated restaurant but let's remember if your mother didn't teach you how to cook West Indian food then you should come here and enjoy the next best option in central Florida. Parking: large parking lot and no trouble finding the restaurant or its entrance.
