Skinny's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Florida

This place is horrible. My wife and I ordered a to go basket of their gator bites and two chicken Caesar wraps. When we got home there was hardly any dressing on the wraps and were dry as the desert and the gator bites were way over cooked. We called and complained that night and was told a refund would be provided, it took a few days to even hear back from them but we were finally told that the refund was processed, a week later still no refund so we called and they said to call my bank because it had been put through, I called my bank and they said they saw no refund processed or even pending so we called back and was told that they put it through and that they dont know why it was not showing that it must be my banks fault. They people we talked to were very rude and unprofessional in resolving this matter, still no refund or any sign of a refund and now waiting for the owner to call us with the refund info because nobody knows but him. This is a typical Pasco bar and grill and the service and food reflect that, this was the first time going there for us and will never go again. Stay away from this place. Would love to give it a great review but I just can't. We came to see the band. The band was fantastic. Bonus was having Santa appear. Nice touch. Bartender was okay. Great seeing friends. They ordered food. That was all good. Here is the problem. Bar fights. Women beating each other up. Broken beer bottles. Women laying on the floor. Santa getting beaten up. A woman with a baby there way past an appropriate time to have a child in a drinking establishment watching all of this happen. She was right in the middle of the bar fight while grown men are beating each other up for the next fight. Children do not belong in a bar. I had 5 children. If I went out, I found a babysitter or I stayed home. That is what a responsible parent does! I love the band. I will continue to follow them but I agree with them and others I spoke to. We will only patronize establishments that have age limit cut offs when parents with children must go home. Sorry parents. I understand you want a good time. But bar fights are not a safe place. God forbid guns came out. Or a fist hit your child. Shame on you for being there with your child. Thats your own fault. Don't turn around and blame the establishment! You should have left!!!!!!!! Lived here for about 3 years so decided to finally try this place out. It's all open air seating so you're at the mercy of the weather and elements, which is fine It's the vibe.

I saw the Gator tail Po-Boy and wanted to try that, it's pretty much a southern staple if you find it. Gator tail was well fried, tender and crispy, and a lot of it, I had to eat half the sandwich with a knife and a fork. Fries were good too, nice and crispy and not over salted.

Will go back again, maybe do take out unless it's a cooler day.

Went back again to try the wings, today was extra hot, over 95 degrees so I thought why not. Service was okay considering they were packed to the hilt and the staff seemed like they were really busy. Took about 30 minutes for the order on a Tuesday night for their chicken wing special for $7.50, wings are really nice sized, sauce was good (garlic hot) celery was fresh and had 4 good sized sticks, blue cheese was also decent.
