Sunset Sliders — Restaurant in Florida

First time there, went in around 2pm I ordered a Mac and Cheese Bowl with Buffalo Chicken and a Meatball Slider on the side. Food came out in a reasonable time no complaints there. I'm in between stars on this as it was 50 percent good and I was 50 percent disappointed. The Meatball Slider was good, the Buffalo Chicken was good but my Mac and Cheese was mushy with a Velveeta cheese consistency. Was the noodle mushy because its been sitting all day?! perhaps. Only way for me to know is to try it again as soon as they open. I prefer a more solid noodle so if the 2nd time around that I try it , it's still this way, then the Mac and cheese here just isn't for me , otherwise the atmosphere was clean in a good size little building with inside and outside seating, parking area holds about 10 vehicles or so maybe a...

My husband called and ordered food a little before closing (I understand it sucks). The girl on the phone was horribly nasty to him, scoffing with disrespect and just being down right mean. I went in to pickup the food and was as kind as I could be. The short dark haired girl that was at the front couldn’t be more rude to my face. I needed to pay with my credit card and that just seemed to be the biggest deal in the world. She was very aggravated and short with me. While I was waiting I could hear the chef cursing up a storm in the background. It was a very awkward situation for me and felt so incredibly uncomfortable. This place is excellent! I’m newer to the area and I’m surprised no one had told me about it! Some of my students insisted I HAD to go. I got their chicken parm closers with their Cajun Parmesan fries and boy was I happy! Excellent food—hot and ready. I waited less than 5 min for my food—I hear this isn’t normal but it was pouring when I went in which kept people at home. After being served another couple came in jonesing for the mac and cheese; these people came from wherever they live in the pouring rain for some Mac and cheese! Suffice it to say that’ll be on my next order. Food was hot, crispy, fresh, flavors were fantastic and hospitality was top class.
